How to unlock a locked Versa?

I purchased a new Versace today - 😁

i had of all set up & working beautifully 

I then tried to change band and it ended up having some missed pin attempts 

it is now locked 

watch says unlock with phone

wheb I go to phone app & to tomdebive blocked it will not accept my new password 

so frustrating

I have been trying for hours to unlock my watch using all information I was getting then I seen  a comment hold all 3 buttons down and bingo it worked how frustrating

Followed all instructions and deactivated Fitbit pay and my Versa still is locked

I followed all steps about removing wallet via computer but still had error. I uninstalled and reinstalled fitbit app, "setting up" my pin fixed it.

So, I not only got the 'Unlock with your phone' message, but I also uninstalled my Fitbit Versa from my phone, so I can no longer enter the number on the display when I try to install it again using my iPhone app. Every time it tries to sync it shows the 'Unlock with your phone message' instead of displaying a number on the Versa so I can sync with my phone. 

 

Any ideas? It's really REALLY frustrating!

Maybe let your phone go flat then start right from the start

I have done exactly the same thing as you. I can not reinstall the versa as I can’t see the code because of the “unlock with your phone” message.

 

This is incredibly frustrating! Have you had any success with this yet?

I played around with it for day pressing all buttons until all numbers
showed up and I changed the pin code it was very frustrating even then I
did not no what I did for numbers to come up

Nope, still not working. Still getting the same message. I've wasted so much time trying to reset it, yet still nothing. I've let both the Fitbit and the iPhone go flat, then tried to set up again. Still the same message. My guess is it's some kind of security feature tied to the wallet, but there must be a better way. This is beyond ridiculous.

Had this issue had to go onto web page for Fitbit logged in disconnected card then synced and was able to then reset and add card again no issues since

Hi
With mine it was during the night. When you are moving around, if any of the buttons are pressed, it buzzes and wants you to input pin number after 5 failed attempts it will lock uou out. This issue is linked to the Pay app. You need to go into settings and disable pay function or tty to reset pin number.

Sounds correct to me I was so frustrated tried everything for days and then
bang it appears so I changed pin and didn’t know exactly what I did to make
work but lost of Peale are having trouble so this is great information
