I have a Versa 2 and an iPhone X and cannot seem to get my text messages to my watch. All the settings are on to receive notifications on phone & watch. I had no issue with this and the blaze. Help please:)

I have had the same issue. I got my Fitbit for Christmas and was so excited. After about of week of working and receiving text messages that excitement left. I have called and have done everything still no text messages. I am so frustrated.

This is been going on for over two months now! I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, rebooted my Fitbit, rebooted my iPhone, made sure that everything was paired correctly, And I made sure that my shared systems notifications, turn all notifications off, turned Bluetooth off, rebooted everything, turn all notifications back on and still not getting text messages! I can receive phone calls alerts and messages through Facebook messenger but no text messages!😡
this is beyond frustrating!!

I have done everything your company asks me to do 10 times to try to get the text messages to go thru and I receive calls but not text. My daughter also does not get text messages. How do we get a refund? Or replacement because I will get a samsung watch if I am not able to get messages on my watch.

Hunni I feel your frustration it's absolutely ridiculous and no one can give you a time frame of when the problem will be fixed I really want to switch to Samsung watch myself

I had the same problem. They are working on it. I finally got texts through the other day. There's so many phones for them to get the bug fixed. I got mine 12/24. I've had Fitbits before. Always takes a bit of time for them to fix the bugs. But they do. Now everything works and I'm satisfied. Be patient.

Versa 2 & Galaxy S10. I got my Versa 2 on 12/17/19- I received text message notifications for about two weeks, and then never again. I do receive calls, calendar, and app notifications, but not texts. I use the default Messages app. I have tried
I am extremely frustrated at this point and would really like to know what is being done to fix this issue, as it is apparently pretty widespread.

I had the same problem. Mine worked for a couple days then nothing. I did everything you did. I contacted Fitbit by email. They told me to be patient as they were aware of the bug. As you can read in here. They ARE truly working on it as my phone started receiving messages the other day. I can't imagine with all the different phones that are out there, what they have to do.But as I said mine is working now.

Until they fix it, use another message app. If you are on the Verizon network, you can use Verizon Message+ or you can download Google Message. Both of those work for me. You just need to set them as your default messaging app on your phone and in the Fitbit app.

Bobbie17- THANK YOU. I downloaded Google Message and set it up as my default and voila! Text message notifications!
I appreciate the recommendation!
