My Fitbit versa is showing no green lights on the back and is also showing “- -“ for the heart beat readings. I have tried the rebooting suggestion shown above and listed as the best answer. I first noticed the green lights weren’t working after I factory reset my device in the first place. If they’re is any information to help me or another option to try and get them working again that would be great.

Hi Robin,

After trying all of the suggested things, I too am in the same boat. If anyone has any other tips, please let me know.

This issue is never resolved. On multiple forums the support team says RESOLVED just to report good metrics on issues. There is a bug that caused heart rate to die out after updates. And they won't admit it. I have tracked 15+ people who had this issue and all were after updates. My wife delayed updates for 6 months and was fine - until she finally updated, Then it hung up and gradually died out. No amount of resets and factory setting help. It may come on for few hours/a day then again die out.

I have the same problem with my Versa, starting 2 weeks ago.  Tried the reboot 3x and the factory reset 2x => no joy.

Hi Christina,

I went ahead and purchased the Apple Watch and I am glad that I did now, especially if you have an iPhone. I have had about three Fitbits in the past and always ended up having issues with them
