I've been using my Versa for about 1.5 years. Last night it just randomly went off while I was wearing it. I have read everything on how to restart it and nothing has worked. It's seems to be dead. The battery was at around 80% when it just went dark.
I have used the charger, done the reset, deleted the app, reinstalled, attempted to re-pair, pretty much everything that has been suggested. There's been no reaction or response.
I see there's a firmware update. Might that have something to do with it? Again, I can't do the update because it won't go on. Not sure what's left to do as I can't seem to just email anyone directly about this so to the forums I go.
My mobile syncing device is a LG V30+.

I've had mine since 3/29/2019, now having all the same problems as everyone else. I was about to hit mine with a hammer out of frustration, but I guess I'll wait and see if there's some sort of fix for the problem.

This same thing has happened to me, 4 times in a year and a half. Meaning I've had 4 replacements sent to me. This is ridiculous. I just did a chat with customer service and told me it's possible I wasn't charging it correctly. Which, I am 100% positive that is not the issue. So frustrating.

It was a gift. It was around March of last year. So I've actually had it for less than 1.5 years.
I believe it was purchased through Amazon. But not second hand. It might had been with conjunction with Fitbi. I still have the box with the serial numbers and such. They really should just send us a replacement. It's the older model so they probably have extra stock.

Same experience! Had it on at 84% then played just dance for couple of hours. On the 3rd hour. Its already dead

For the past 2 weeks actually battery performance has been poor. Before without using the watch it lasts 3-5days. But now i have to charge before using it because its draining fast. Now its dead batt again and i have to charge it again. Then after an hour i checked and its turned off. And overheating while charging. Cant turn it back on. Now after pressing all buttons several times for more than 15 seconds each. Had mine since christmas 2018. Whay is happening here? Seems like everyone's experiencing similar issues. Its still dead. After charging 3 times for an hour. Nothings happening. Im sad cause this was a gift to me

Same exact thing with my versa lite. I have done ALLLL the suggestions. Updates, reinstalled the app, all of it. Last week it started acting weird. Turning on and off while I was wearing it. Then it just died and won't turn back on. I have held down the button, put it on the charger. It turns on and off on the charger, and vibrates every once in a while. The screen actually turned on for a second and when I took it off the charger, it was black. SO frustrating.

Mine shows the fitbit logo also and nothing else. Ive tried to turn it off, sync it, etc and can't get anyone at Fitbit..Ive had mine about a year...very disappointing!!!

Same issue. Versa less than one year old. Just went off 4 hours ago, will not turn back on. I've tried everything.

Just spent a good 30 minutes with Customer Support, the tech tried everything, even had me clean the back and charger with alcohol and brush, nothing. He finally said they would send me a replacement, since I am still under warranty. They sent me an email with a form to complete.

I talked to customer service today, but because my warranty is up they wouldn't give me a replacement, and only offered a discount on older models.
I understand companies need to have policies and procedures, but I'm so disappointed with the outcome of this.
4 Versas in under two years all because of the same issue. It's not anything that I did... And I feel that of the three replacements I already got, they were all defective. So disappointed in the outcome of this all.

I'm going to do just that tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I'll get the same outcome you did. I'll post the outcome.
The fact that so many of us have a similar issue means there was definitely a fatal defect in this model.

I’ve left mine on charge all night to see if it makes a change as some have had slightly different experiences but nope, still blank and saying 0%.
This is so poor from Fitbit! How can we all have this issue?! Mine is 2 years old now so no chance of getting a replacement. I need a fitness tracker but I’m very hesitant to get a Fitbit again after this
