Versa stopped receiving notifications from Android phone

My Versa stopped receiving notifications a few days ago. I've done a lot of troubleshooting and it still won't receive notifications. It's not even receiving the test call notification. It's still paired to my phone and syncing with the app but I'm not receiving notifications on my Versa. I don't know what else to do.

@pam120800 -this was partially my mistake. The app ver is

The Firmware version is

If the app and firmware match- you should be good to test the shut down device, uninstall/reinstall app, set all permissions to allow, turn device on fix.

If it doesn't work tho, remember this is just a workaround for the moment as Fitbit has not fully fixed the issue.

Hi @Kinzey - did you pull down from the top edge of the watch once, and then again, and click on the 2 white bars to get to Quick Settings and make sure that Sleep or Do not disturb haven't accidentally got enabled?

Mine hasn’t received notifications for 10 days, I’ve checked what you said above and it isn’t that, I’ve reset watch and reloaded app etc, think it must be a glitch !

@Bowgirl104  - just in case if you reinstalled the app did you fully setup notifications again ?

I noticed mine was doing something similar when I woke up Saturday... I'm able to get calls to my versa but no text messages. It's gone as far as booting itself off of my phone bluetooth and not reconnecting to it. I have no idea what's going on and I've tried everything. I'm glad it's not just me though.

I have and they are both disabled

It would appear there is a bug in the latest Fitbit App as it is occurring to so many people.

Fitbit Versa 2
Platform: Android
App version: 3.64 (most up to date version per app)
Device: Pixel 4a5g
as of an hour ago, I stopped receiving notifications on my Fitbit versa 2. I have tried all of the basic troubleshooting steps suggested in other forums and help sites (disable BT for 10 sec. re-enable // un/re-pair device to Fitbit app // etc) none have worked to resolve this issue. Sleep mode and DND mode are off. Notifications are synced properly on the app.
Please assist.

Hi @Darshis - fortunately it's probably not your watch /settings  - there seems to be a problem with the latest Fitbit app version as others are having a problem..

That's what I thought as well. But when I contacted support for assistance, they were not aware of any known issues w/ notifications and had me go through all of the troubleshooting steps again before escalating the issue to another tech. Apparently I'm supposed to get an email regarding the escalation within the next 24 hours?

Hi everyone. Nice to see that you're digging into the Fitbit Forums. Welcome to all new members!

Thank you all for sharing these details with us. I'm sorry the notifications aren't working well and to look into this, may I know the model and OS/software version of your phone? Do you recall since when this started to happening

In the meantime and just in case you haven't done so, please give a try to the troubleshooting steps described in this help article.

I'd also recommend to give a try to the following:

  1. Turn off the Bluetooth in your phone and any other device nearby.
  2. Remove your Versa smartwatch from Bluetooth settings.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart your watch.
  5. Turn on the Bluetooth only on your phone and open the Fitbit app.
  6. Tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device > Sense > Replace Device.
  7. Follow the onscreen instructions and if prompted, accept to pair your watch with your phone.

Hope it helps.
