Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

iOS user; same issue. I use this app to track my carbs and determine amount of insulin to inject. Please get this “bug” worked out asap!!

I did an update to the app this morning. Since then, I haven’t been able to add all the items from the saved food logs for lunch and dinner. 
It’s important for my weight loss journey. 
Some items stay but some disappear.

This had been happening to me too but nothing I did affected it. I thought
I had somehow hit a wrong button and just started ignoring it despite it
really bugging me.

Same issue started today. I log my meals and they never show in the my daily calorie count. Please fix this important feature. Thank you

Started today. After adding food using plus sign, food shows up then second later one or more of the entries disappear. After re-entering the disappeared item a different food entry disappears. Happens for all meals breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. I am using an IOS/iPhone device.

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?

Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?

Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?

The only thing I can do is I had recorded some spinach after midnight, and I can change the amount. Therefore I put that I ate 12 lb of spinach today to at least prevent it from throwing off my week's average so much. Other foods, whether added with the plus sign, a barcode, or a saved food all disappear, though they sometimes will show up on the food log screen until I go to the dashboard. 

I have tried restarting the app and restarting the phone, both to no avail.

this is an outage, albeit a partial outage. This outage been going on for over 12 hours. Your response is to mark something as a best answer that isn’t an answer at all, but just queries for more input. Most of the people who replied have given you this input. it would be most helpful if you would post periodic updates as to what progress has or has not been made.  Your silence is deafening.

Log food feature is not working BOTH from the + sign on the dashboard and on the food site. For BOTH custom and database entries. It will temporarily log the food and show the macros, but then after a few seconds the macros will disappear and total calorie count will stay there, but once navigating away, the entire entry list disappears. This happens regardless of choosing "anytime" or any other meal options. I have a pixel 9 pro XL. App was working fine yesterday, and working find for the past 3 weeks.

That would be correct I think ReeBeans. My best differential assumption also is that it’s a server-side/terminating issue. The app knows how to post the data, but the response the server is such that it falls out of sync. Only my theory but either way it would seem everyone is having the same issue and we all done what we could to try to measure out it being an app/device issue. 🤞

Same here.  It started this morning with breakfast.  I have an Android phone.  I tried force stopping the app.  Didn't help.  I uninstalled and reinstalled.  Didn't help.  None of the foods I have tried to log have been recorded all day.  Water is logging fine. It happens with custom food and regular searched foods.  It happens with the + on the dashboard and in the food section.

I'm also having this issue. Anything I try to log manually disappears after a couple of seconds, and my Cronometer data is not showing up either. Have tried force stopping and restarting the app

I'm on anandroid. SAMSUNG S25+

This started this morning and has continued throughout the day, when entering the same foods I enter basically everyday which is not custom, going into the food area on the app. I will log it, and it will be there for 1 second and then disappear. Doesn't matter what it is or how many times. I've force stopped the app, cleared the cache, restarted phone and uninstalled/reinstalled 2 times now. It allowed me to log my water this morning but not after noon. This is very annoying.

Same issue for me! You log food then it disappears after 2 seconds. Tried everything, install uninstall fitbit app, restarting fitbit device, restarting phone (iphone), etc etc
