I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

I am having issues also

Have they still not figure out the issue with not being able to log food. I have an Android, and this is driving my OCD crazy. I'm currently writing every thing down on paper in hopes I will be able to enter this later.

The support is pretty disconnected from the people actually that work on the app.
I wouldn't expect it to be three or 4 days.
I wrote support about an hour ago, and they said they were unaware of any issues.... Don't bother dealing with support

It happens with all of it, it won't save any changes

Really? I don't find it that ridiculous. It will be ridiculous if it gets to day 3.

Same here. I’m so unhappy with Fitbit app since google took over. The graphics aren’t great. The color in the food app choices is terrible hard to read. I’m disgusted, but don’t really want to get used to something else. Guess we’re at their mercy

I’m using iOS. Food is disappearing went entered into log whether scanned or manually. I’ve tried force closing, updating, deleting app and reinstalling and turning my phone off and restarting. Nothing has work. Very frustrating.

It started to happen to me 2 days ago. At first it was just when I added new entries with the plus sign but now foods just disappear without any action on my part.

Has this been fixed yet? Mine is still behaving the same - also a web app using the fitbit API also fails with a server 400 error when trying to connect to food tracking. The API for grabbing saved foods has been broken in API for a while now.
all meal times affected;
no entries can be added to the foods eaten section to get a calory count;
Custom foods can not be listed by the API in the web interface but can in app (been this way for a while now);
The food is chosen, shows as added in the log, then disappears moments later because the underlying API wont allow connection to server to add the food;
I am using both the web through an API and the app on android;
It is the API that is at the base of the issue - not an app

It happens with every meal, using the (+) sign when I am in the food site of the app. I'm using a iOS device.
It only saves three entries, nothing else.

Today the app won't open. When I tap to open it, it just goes to a black screen. Hopefully, it's being worked on.

So I'm new to the community..I came on, like so many others to see why my food was being deleted but I don't see any acknowledgement from fitbit. So frustrating, only got my watch two weeks ago but there's problem after problem with it. Is there a direct way to contact Fitbit?

Both, as soon as you enter any food it deletes it automatically

Hey everyone,
Is anyone else having problems with the app not logging food today? Every time I try to add something to my log, it either doesn’t save or it disappears a few seconds later!!
I’ve tried closing and reopening the app, checking for updates, restarting my phone etc & nothing has fixed it so far.
Is this a known issue or is there something else I should try?
Thank you!

It broke sometime yesterday. When in the ‘+’ portion of ‘Food,’ it shows frequently-eaten food and will allow those foods to be added and they show up as total calories consumed. If I search for a food I see the listings, but if I click on one, the device (iPhone) goes into a never-ending search. If I get out of Food or close Fitbit, all but (sometimes) one of the items I entered disappear. When I get back in the app, the total calories are either zero or just one of the items I entered.
Yes, I closed Fitbit and restarted my phone.

I became aware of the issue yesterday and completed the list of chores they always give you, but to no avail. Reassuring that it clearly is an issue that must demand some action on their side to resolve.

Same with me. Last time they had me totally redo my account. Insisted problems were on my end. Nothing fixed it. Took weeks before they fixed it on their end. Never had these problems before Google took over!
