I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

This has been happening for 2 days now. For the record I am using a Samsung galaxy S23+ ,(Android system) I rebooted but it makes no difference .
I enter the food using the + in the nutition module. The water log works fine. I add a food then it disappears. Very frustrating.

@GingerBabe I have a pixel watch and am forced to use the same horrible software as all of you. It is very frustrating they have these constant issues

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?

MyFitness pal is a good option IMHO. Its able to find more common food items in the search( like grilled chicken tenders- home made) VS fitbit app pulling up all restaurant iterations of the food you are looking for.

My fitness pal has been recommended and I've synced the free version with fitbit so my steps etc end up in myfitnesspal where I log my calories. Sadly it doesnt work both ways. Sleep doesnt seem to transfer but that isn't important to me.
So from now on will just use myfitnesspal which has excellent reviews for stability. I assume I can use any step counter with it so will probably do that when my fitbit dies - its on its way out charging wise and I'm not paying major money for a google smartwatch connected to an unstable app.
Downside is sorting all my favourite foods but the food database seems more comprehensive than Google- for uk food anyway.

I simply don't understand why the £179 watch I just bought is so significantly inferior to the first one I bought for under £100 back in 2019. Surely things are supposed to get better over time? This time round, I can longer access my dashboard on my desktop, so adding or editing food, workouts, sleep etc is now exclusively on my phone, halving the user experience. In the six or so weeks I've had this new one, there have been several instances of food logging not working properly, or at all. I can no longer see how many steps per hour needed to hit 250. Active hours are apparently now limited to 10 (my old watch was set to 13), and on top of that it's broken so that you cannot edit which 10 hours you'd like it to be. I don't remember ever having to contact help during my previous experience, apart from once to organise a replacement during warranty. Whereas now, contacting help seems to be all I do!
I've honestly never known anything like it.
Fitbit, Google, whoever is responsible for this absolute disgrace of a product and service, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yes same here. Started last night. Press plus sign to enter favorite foods. As soon as they log they delete automatically. Tried deleting app, reinstall still same. This has never happened before. Charge 6
