Fitbit Update 10/25/2015
Syncing food from MFP to Fitbit is now back to normal. Thank you again for everybody's patience while this problem was being worked out.
Fitbit Update 10/22/2015: MyFitnessPal is aware and has added this to their known issues page. Fitbit and MyFitnessPal are closely working together to get this issue resolved ASAP.
In the meantime, a workaround to try is to manually delete the duplicate entries from your Fitbit Food Log. In order to delete duplicate entries, do the following:
Another option is to unlink your MyFitnessPal account from your Fitbit account and checking your calories on MFP until the multiplying issue is fully resolved!
Thank you for your continued patience as we work alongside MFP to get this issue resolved!
Fitbit Update 10/21/2015: Some users have reported that their MyFitnessPal food log entries are being multiplied on their Fitbit Food Log.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but Fitbit and MyFitnessPal are both aware of the issue. We are currently working on resolving this issue with MFP's help. MyFitnessPal has also posted an update here as well. I will share updates here with everyone when I find out more! Thank you for your patience!

There is an ongoing problem with MyFitnessPal at the moment. A number of us are affected this way.

Are we talking about MyFitnessPal linking to fitbit?
If so, there's a known issue at the moment that's affecting a lot of us.

I think myfitnesspal is having a similar issue with the calorie adjustments from fitbit....mine from yesterday appear to be doubled in myfitnesspal....

It's broader than iOS - I'm getting it on Android too.

This is different than the issue with the myfitnesspal meals data being doubled in fitbit - this is fitbit calorie adjustment data from activity being doubled in myfitnesspal....but I guess it could be that the syncing is wonky going both ways!!!

This just started happening to me, too. I have to get on the fitbit website and delete all of the extra entries and this has really been a pain the last couple of days. My calorie count in MyFitness Pal is correct, so is this a fitbit issue? Really hope we can get this problem fixed.

I have the same problem with my fitbit one. There was an update yesterday from Fitbit that created this problem. It appears that every time i make an entry into my fitness pal, Fitbit is grabbing the new entry and the new total and adding both to the fitbit calorie total. So three new entries = 6 postings (3 entries and 3 new totals) to Fitbit.
