All my issues stem from "Tracking" a walk or run with the Fitbit app. Everything looks great while I'm walking and I get voice updates during the walk. Even gave me distance and all the vital info when done. It's when I went and looked at my activity later in the app that it had no data other than a gps picture of my walk. The time was grossly wrong even though my phone and Fitbit both display the right time. It would not allow edits to the time. My auto logs of a workout do display the correct time and I haven't had issues with exercises I start from the Fitbit.

I emailed customer support directly and went back and forth with them all week, doing all of the things shared here (uninstall/reinstall, reboot, unpair/repair, etc.). Yesterday they shared
there is a new update to the app and that seems to have done the trick. Not sure why they wouldn’t publicize this more... but since that it seems to be in sync even with sleep and manually added exercise.
Added Bonus that I just noticed this morning... now in sleep you have both the Sleep Score AND the total time for the week is back! 😊

Update your app! I just did and it looks to be fixed. Funny because IOS13 wasn't showing any available updates until I clicked on the Fitbit app and it showed an update was available.

I went into the App Store and manually updated

It was an App Store update for the app on my iPhone. I did not get the “cleaning things up for you message” with this update

The problem is not fixed for me. When I enter an activity (eg stretching) manually it says "not enough data available" for heart rate and calories. It used to show my heart rate and calories. The time is completely correct and synced between my watch and my app. I am using the latest version and just reinstalled it and restarted my phone.

I just went into the Fitbit app and manually did the update -- now everything is working again.

Same issues here. Customer service told me to mail back the device and they will replace as its under warranty but its not a device issue and they do not want to hear it. Customer service has been useless.

Now my fitbit went back and entered heart rate and calories for past logged activities except for Thursday (yesterday). BUT now it is not giving me any exercise credit either for detected or logged activities altho it gives me steps and minutes for the detected walk it is not showing I took a walk. Or showing that I did weights even tho I entered that in. I used to like my fitbit. Can anyone recommend the best alternative product? I have about had it.

Here are the results from my 4 mile walk at 12:05 today. I started exercise tracking from the app.
The map data has been separated from the calories, steps and heart data into two separate events. The map is accurate but my split time data is missing, 0 calories, 0 steps and the time stamp of the event was 5 hours in the future.
This is all very frustrating

My Ionic is not tracking exercise stats such as GPS, steps, activity etc. it just says not enough data. I’ve tried rebooting everything to no avail. Anyone else having this problem? I’ve sent an email to customer support. Thank you

Same thing is happening on my Alta HR for the past 3 days. I'm in ET and my Fitbit is set for ET, and the clock is showing the correct time. My sleep start time is 5 hours earlier than the time showing on my Alta. Also, when I take daily walks, I use the track exercise feature and it is doing the same thing. I've turned off time zone 'set automatically', chosen NY as time zone, exited app, then came back in and turned the time zone 'set automatic' back on...and all variations of this process, and rebooted my phone after some trials too. Nothing fixes the issue. very frustrating.

Hello,
All my historical exercise data is incorrect. The times all changed by 12 hours and there is no data recorded from my Fitbit. When I manually enter an exercise it is not recognising some of the days and again no data.
When can we expect a fix? Will all the historical data remain incorrect?
