Since updating my phone to iOS 13.4.1 my charge 3 will not synch. Have tried everything  in the help function.

Does anyone else experience This problem and did you fix it

Unfortunately it’s a known issue and the response is “ we are trying to fix” in the meantime their product isn’t working and they don’t care. It took me 3 weeks to finally get hold of someone in customer service and it’s worthless!

Didn’t work for Charge 3

I did not loose my data because it’s stored in their server. When you reinstall the app you need to log back in and when you reconnect  your Fitbit to the app it will pick up your data. I may have lost half a days data but that was because my Fitbit was not connecting to the app on my phone.

make sure you delete the Fitbit device from your phones bluetooth memory as well. Reconnect it all like you did when you set it up the first time.

Have you completely deleted the Fitbit device  from your phones Bluetooth memory and deleted the app From your phone and reinstalled both the app and device like you did when you first purchased it?

Yes and then I couldn’t reinstall it. Plus i sm wondering whether the dats is lost in the cloud or is it lost just in the device.

Nope. Sounds scary but the app isn't working now so what's to lose?
I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Yes I did all that and my Fitbit Charge 3 connected & synced. But a couple of hours later the problem returned. That’s when I contacted Fitbit help chat line a second time and they admitted it is a known fault and their software teams are working on it.

At this stage I have done so much deleting I have tried everything ...nothing works. I had an old iPhone 7 with software 12, I connected fitbit to this and it worked. It means I can only connect now when in WiFi area but at least I have my data.... I’m hoping Fitbit will produce new compatible app very soon or I will have to change to another non Fitbit system. No good enough ! Thank you for responding and we really shouldn’t have to delete everything and reconnect each time software updated. I had to reconnect to my AirPods and car audio system but those did work . Thanks again

I have disconnected, reconnected, deleted, reinstalled, rebooted everything - the app, the phone and the Charge 3 umpteen times and and still it doesn’t work. It may connect if I am lucky, work for 2 minutes then fail again.

It simply needs Fitbit to get their app sorted as soon as possible.

Yep, AAPL forced iOS 13.4.1 update and now my Charge 2 won't sync....utter BS! Fortunately I also have a OnePlus (Android) and it syncs fine. Another iOS update fail...get it together AAPL! 😞

I’ve been frustrated since updating iPhone and iPad to 13.4.1 I tried everything that has been mentioned. I was to sync my Charge 3 once using the Windows 10 App, but didn’t get any sleep data. I finally charged an old iPhone and was able to get the Charge 3 to sync with the old phone. So will use the old phone to sync until Fitbit updates their App to work with 13.4.1

Agreed. I will never buy a Fitbit device again. Their customer service is terrible. For a product that is only 10 months old to fail and its within warranty they should replace it. I don't care if it's a known issue. It's been a known issue for over a month. So their product is failing, and they should do the right thing.

Ditto... I have also done everything.... so frustrating.

Yes, the longer they take to fix this problem, the more customers they are going to lose to Apple Watch or a similar device. (Maybe that was Apple’s plan??)
I would change but I got my Charge 3 less than 6 months ago because I wanted something waterproof. This whole thing is very frustrating. Plus, when I followed the suggestion to delete and then reinstall the Fitbit I was unable to reinstall it.

It's a Fitbit issue not Apple. Fitbit should support their products and replace them if they don't work!

It probably doesn't hurt but I'll bet that the Fitbit management won't
ignore this issue.
Since versions of the Apple Watch offer competing features with Fitbit
devices, one could imagine that Apple may have done something deliberate,
if one were into conspiracies. 🙂 But given the relative horsepower of
the two companies, I suspect the onus is on Fitbit to do something to fix
the problem.

Yes. I have done this a few times, and just tried again last night and now the device can’t find my blue tooth and won’t sync at all! So, very frustrated with no help from FitBit…..

Thanks for your attempt to help, much appreciated.
