We are aware of an issue preventing some users from receiving notifications on their iPhone after updating to iOS 13. If you're having trouble receiving notifications and you updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 13, follow the steps in this article, which are also documented below:

1. GET UP-TO-DATE

  1. Update the Fitbit app.
  2. Make sure you installed the latest version of iOS. Tap Settings > General > Software update to see if an update is available.

2. CHECK YOUR BLUETOOTH SETTINGS

  1. Tap Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the information icon

next to the name of your Fitbit device.
  3. Turn Share System Notifications off and then back on. If you don't see the Share System Notifications option:
    1. Restart your Fitbit device. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
    2. Tap Allow when you receive a message on your iPhone or iPad asking if you want your Fitbit device to show notifications.
    3. Tap the information icon

next to the name of your Fitbit device
    4. Turn on Share System Notifications.

3. CHECK YOUR NOTIFICATION SETTINGS

  1. Tap Settings in the top-left to return to the Settings page > Notifications.
  2.  Make sure Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked.
  3. Verify the settings for each app that sends notifications:
App Settings
Calendar
  • Allow Notifications—On
  • Tap each notification type and verify the settings:
    • Alerts > Notification Center—On
    • Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked
Messages
  • Allow Notifications—On
  • Alerts > Notification Center—On
  • Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked
Phone
  • Allow Notifications—On
  • Alerts > Notification Center—On
  • Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked
All other apps
  • Allow Notifications—On
  • Alerts > Notification Center—On
  • Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked

4. RESTART YOUR PHONE

For instructions, see the Apple help article.

If these steps do not resolve the issue for you, please keep your app up to date, and watch this thread for new information. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while our team works to address this.

@Icepol  My only suggestion is to check here and keep up with it:https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/m-p/38...

I have no other suggestions. I’m sorry.

I also am having no luck with getting this issue resolved.  My versa does not receive any notifications of any kind since the iPhone update.  I have tried all suggested procedures to correct the problem and no luck:(

I’ve done everything in the article and it still doesn’t work. After I restarted both devices the little “i” no longer appears so there is no way for me to click on it.

i just want my texts back on my Versa.

Turn Bluetooth off
Then
Turn phone off
Wait 10 minutes
Turn phone on
Turn Bluetooth on

That made it sync for me

The KEY IS:  Removing your device from Bluetooth on your device and re - pairing with your phone.

I have it figured out:  Go to settings on iphone, click on bluetooth, click on ! to right side of versa, click forget this device, make sure it disappears from blue tooth list.  Go to fitbit app on phone, try to sync, it says it needs to pair, click set up, click allow.  It then should be paired allowing all notifications that you have set.  Go to settings on your iphone, click on bluetooth, click on ! to right side of versa, you will now see Share Systems Notiffications.  That needs to be on and it should be on without you changing it.

I was really nervous about this update.  My phone said it would update tonight, I completed the update now to see if I could get notifications to work.   The KEY IS:  Removing your device from Bluetooth on your device and re - pairing with your phone.

On iPhone go to settings - notifications - messages - show previews - when unlocked. You will start getting alerts after that on Fitbit. I have iPhone 11 Max on newest update and it’s working fine this way until they fix it

After doing all this did you still have to have the messages setting on your iPhone for preview as "always" or "when unlocked" - to get the message notification on your fitbit?

@RicardoFitbit I'm having the same issue.

ALL notifications are working (calendar, text, call)

However, when I pick up the call, the fitbit blaze continues to buzz even though the call has now been picked up.

This happened right after the IOS13 upgrade. It occurs everytime I pick up a call.

I’ve tried everything suggested and still not getting text notifications! Super frustrating!! Has Fitbit come out with a solution??

I tried doing this too and my Alta HR either disappears completely from my Bluetooth list or shows up under "My Devices" with no "i" next to it.  When I go to the app to sync it seems my device is still paired so no idea what's going on!  So over this issue, I'm getting no notifications except one random phone call that came through yesterday.  No other notifications on my Fitbit since updating to iOS 13.1.2.

Nope. Unless a solution is buying an apple watch...
