I received my Charge 3 March 14th, 2019. It has worked fine, but in about February of 2020 it suddenly stopped vibrating completely. I’ve tried to uninstall then reinstall the app, clear data, restart my Charge 3, and made sure all my settings were correct. Vibration is on, as well as being on Strong instead of Normal. Still no vibrations though.

I have done that twice... still not vibrating nor are texts coming thru.
I have restarted twice... restarted phone as well. Even tried a Force Stop on the app
Still vibration and notifications is not working

I know this post is old but wanted to stop by and say thank you as this worked for me! Also for anyone trying this make sure the “sleep” icon is also off! I turned sleep icon off and screen wake on and vibration works perfectly again now.

Hi I've been trying to see why my charge 3 isn't vibrating and I've tried the restart method and it hasn't worked.

I also have an Answer too!
Read the following steps
1: turn on your Fitbit
2: go to timers
3: go to countdown
4: turn on your countdown to 1 second
5: double tap your Fitbit when the timer has end and it should vibrate!!!
Enjoy 😊

My charge 3 has stopped vibrating and showing my texts. I have restarted until I saw the smiley face but still not working.

My Fitbit Charge 3 stopped vibrating too. I found on the Fitbit device settings that "Sleep Mode" had been turned on. Turned it off and I have my vibrations back.

I tried restarting, it did not work.
Same here, restarting did not fix the issue.

Hier al maanden hetzelfde probleem. Instellingen nagekeken en verschillende keren opnieuw opgestart, geen resultaat.
Fitbit helpdesk geeft steeds dezelfde antwoorden die niet werken. Vervelend probleem!

I've restarted several times. I checked the vibrate setting - when I switch it from Normal to Strong, it vibrates momentarily. But it never vibrates anymore at 10 minutes to the hour or when I get a phone call or text message.
I have tried all the different suggestions. So now what?

Hi, thanks, this works!!!
Very nice!!
Kind regards!!
Thanks, this worked!! Very glad!

My wife has had the same issue on her Charge 3 for months, and this thread and the "turn off sleep mode" was what solved the issue. Thanks for that excellent advice.

Great! Fitbit helpdesk doesn't give this solution.
I'm also glad with this solution!
