How to Set Pool Length on my Charge 3?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've bought the Charge 3 & I'm trying to set the Pool Length for swimming, I've looked at the help topics & it says to click Advanced Settings & then Swim Settings but when I click Advanced Settings in the App I don't have the Swim Settings option. The help topics also says you Can access the Swim Settings from the Excercise Screen on the Fitbit but i din't know how to find this. Can anyone help please? Many thanks

My phone needs to be near me? I'm not going to bring my phone to the pool.  Perhaps the Fitbit is not the devise I need, may have to try a Garmin that will count my laps etc.

Yes maybe a better option for you, our pool lockers are at the side of pool so works fine for me.

I followed the thread and found the setting on the charge 3 , great but can only set pool length to a minimum of 10, my pool in 9 Metres? I have set to Yards as that would convert to 9.84 metres so a little closer.

Is there any chance fitbit will allow less than 10? Note: majority of people who are fortunate enough to have our own pools the standard is 8 x 4 metres ( I have 9 x 4)

Hey,

I'm not able to change the pool length at all. There are no options for swimming settings. I can only change the unit for swimming. (tested on android app and web version)? My pool lenght is 50m, not 25m. And that should be easy to change because You are not always in the same pool.

Why there are no option to change the logged data fex. distance ( for I know the right distance, device regonized wrong). This is for swimming and running inside, where GPS is not available. Autologged activity should be editable for distance, type.

HI you have to do it on the fitbit itself, not int he app or the website.

On your charge 3
Swipe right once to Exercise
Tap once
Swipe right twice to Swim
Swipe up - you will see pool length
Tap once, you can then wipe up or down to select the length.

On your Fitbit slide across and tap on exercise, then slide to swimming, slide up and you’ll see pool length, tap on it and choose the length of your pool
Hoe this helps
