How to Set Pool Length on my Charge 3?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've bought the Charge 3 & I'm trying to set the Pool Length for swimming, I've looked at the help topics & it says to click Advanced Settings & then Swim Settings but when I click Advanced Settings in the App I don't have the Swim Settings option. The help topics also says you Can access the Swim Settings from the Excercise Screen on the Fitbit but i din't know how to find this. Can anyone help please? Many thanks

Check! you are doing this on the fitbit charge 3 ? Not on the App or online it must be on the fitbit itself.

You can only set pool length on the tracker itself and not through App.
Swipe sideways on Time Clock/heartbeat page of tracker, tap on Exercise,
swipe sideways until you reach Swim, swipe up and set pool length and units
of measure on that page. For example, I just changed meters to yards
because our pool is 25 yard long.
Hope this helps.

I folllowed your instructions to set up my swimming exercise but the advanced setting still doesn’t show pool length. I tried logging out of the app and logging back on, to no avail.

I was only able to set the length from the Charge 3 directly.

Is there some special way to wear on my wrist during swimming to register heart rate?

No it will do it automatically, after your swim go onto your app dashboard, click on your weekly exercise that will bring up your swim details, click on that to next page which will give you your BPM

I have set the pool length on my charge 3 to 50 meters but it is not counting my lengths correctly.

I have swam 20 x 50 meter lengths without stopping on several occasions and each time my charge 3 records the exercise as 40 lengths 2000 m when I have swam 20 lengths and 1000 m.  What am I doing wrong.

Sorry I don’t have the answer I have the same kind of problem, when I do 30 lengths, the amount of metres the fit bit says I’ve done works out about 4 lengths less
