Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've bought the Charge 3 & I'm trying to set the Pool Length for swimming, I've looked at the help topics & it says to click Advanced Settings & then Swim Settings but when I click Advanced Settings in the App I don't have the Swim Settings option. The help topics also says you Can access the Swim Settings from the Excercise Screen on the Fitbit but i din't know how to find this. Can anyone help please? Many thanks

You can’t do it on the phone. You can only set it on the Charge 3 Fitbit.

Swipe left -

Tap Exercise

Swipe left to swim

swip up

tap pool length

select length

On your Fitbit swipe to exercise then swipe to swimming, slide up and you will see pool length, tap on this then select the length of your pool, once selected tap on it then go back, you can then select metres or yards and tap to select

I have set the pool length but my Charge 3 still does not record the number of lengths I do correctly.

I have set the length to 50 Meters. I normally swim 20 lengths in a 50 meter pool. My Charge 3 records I do about 40 lengths (sometimes 39, sometimes 41 or 42). I even reset it to show a 25 meter pool and did my 20 lengths in the 50 meter pool and my Charge 3 recorded that I had done 42 lengths.

So regardless if I set my Charge 3 to 25 or 50 meter pool it still shows that I have done about 40 lengths when I have only done 20.

I could do the first part of this resolution, but I don't see this option under Advanced:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon.
  2. Scroll down to Settings and tap Advanced Settings.
  3. Tap Swimming Settings.
  4. Enter the pool length and unit of measurement (meters or yards).

Hi I think someone has changed my original advice.

The only way in on the charge 3 Fitbit itself.
Swipe left from the clock screen
Tap Exercise
Wipe left twice to see swim
Swipe up pool length
Tap to change

Hi, go onto your Fitbit App
Then tap left corner to take you to Account then scroll down to goals, tap on exercise this will then bring up a list of 7 exercises for you to choose 5 of them, just make sure swimming is included, hope this helps

Yes you can

On your Fitbit swipe to exercise then swipe to swimming, slide up and select yards or metres then select the length of your pool, once you have selected the length you need to tap on the number to set it then you can go back

On your Fitbit slide across from the clock face to exercise, slide until you come to swimming, slide up and you will see a wheel to move to length you want, once you have chosen length, tap on it to set, you can now go back to clock face .  You can’t change pool length on App

Hi when you swipe across to pool length it is set at 25m and you can select it to change it. I would like to change it to 18m.

The other query I have is tracking aquarobics, I set device to swim last time but doubt think that's the best way as your not swimming lengths is there a better way?
