Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Why is this constantly an issue? They just fixed this a couple of weeks ago and now it is back again. Ugh!

I noticed someone posted saying they were having the same issue on iOS as well... Hopefully that means this is a big enough issue that they're aware and working on it.

I am on Android and it is affecting all meals, custom and database foods, and I am adding things from the Food screen in the app. If I click on a food that I added after the problem started it says an error occurred and shows me nothing. I can edit the things I had for breakfast but nothing past that.

Same here! Tried all of the ways to fix it and it keeps deleting foods that I tracked. Super frustrating!

I'm having the same problem, the last thing I was able to log was this afternoon around 2/3pm UTC. I've tried the following:

- Restarting my phone, turned Bluetooth on and off, checked for updates

- Clearing app cache, force stop etc.

- Uninstalled the app, restarted my phone and reinstalled. Had to sign in again from scratch.

I've not been able to fix it!!

This happens when I am in the food site, regardless of how I accessed (ie. regardless of how I get from the dashboard to the site for logging food, I am having the same issue) .  It's happened for every meal today, since I first tried to log breakfast 6 hours ago.  It is affecting foods listed in the data base.  I haven't tried to create new custom food entries today, but the issues is also occurring when I try to log foods from my custom list.
I am using an Android device.

Don't worry. Someone from google(fitbit) will be on soon to gaslight us.
They will tell us to turn it off and turn it on again. They will say force
stop app and reload it. They know NONE of this will work for long if at
all....all while not addressing the elephant in room, it worked for years
and years until Google bought it.

@JuanFitbit: as of Dec 4,2025 the App isn't recording any food log entries.  They look like they are about to record - even appear in right meal and calories recalculate - then "poof!" they disappear!!!  Help!

I am just now having this issue. My food log is not saving. I have tried restarting my phone, logging in and out of the app, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It worked yesterday. And today, when I went to update food from yesterday, it worked. But it will not save today's entries.
