When I opened up a ticket, she said that there would be updates to fix it rolling out within the next week.

They are, but not sure of a timeframe. The chat agent I spoke to said that an update would be rolling out over the next week to fix it and not everyone had the update yet. I don't understand why it suddenly acted up when my app had not had any updates. This just plain sucks.

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app? Both.
Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?
Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base? All meals. The app captured breakfast yesterday but nothing since.
Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad? iOS

Yes, when using the plus sign whether I scan a barcode or use a previous food. Across all meals. Custom food will not stay logged either. Apple.

I have same problem.
When I use the "+" icon on the dashboard, any food I log does not show up in my calorie count, and is not in my food log on the food site in the app. When I log something using the food site in the app, it shows up in the list until I log something else; then the first item disappears from the log. Going back to the dashboard shows no change in the calorie count, and all food items logged have disappeared.

Seems this issue is ongoing for everyone, I really hope Fitbit are working on it on their end.

Food tracking disappears immediately no matter how it is entered. Have rebooted. I am so close to dumping Fitbit. On Apple device.

This just started yesterday Dec 4. With an iPhone, all parts of the app seem to be working fine except food entry. It’s happening with data base foods and scanned food items living in the personal data. Happened while your entering any meals. Used the plus + and entered a food, and it shows up, then while you are entering other foods, the first ones begin to disappear in front of your eyes. Doesn’t appear any other days are affected. Hope this helps

It doesn't work on the plus sign or site. It's every meal, custom or not. I'm on a google pixel with android.
I've checked for updates, forced a stop, restarted my phone, cleared the cache, nothing worked.
Just got the watch and now I can considering returned it for this issue as a deal breaker

I am having the same problem. Entering food worked fine on Wednesday, but Thursday it no longer works. You can enter what you ate, but then it goes away. Still happening today (Friday, December 5). I use this feature every day, this is very frustrating.

I'm on an Android Galaxy S-23. It and my Fitbit update automatically. This problem started for me yesterday (December 4). It doesn't matter whether I select from my custom foods or I enter the numbers manually. They go in but then disappear. I rebooted my phone twice, cleared the Fitbit cache, and uninstalled then reinstalled the app. Nothing has helped. The ball is definitely in your court!

Food logging isn't working wherever I enter it, for any meal. The entry stays until I enter another, then that one also disappears. I've tried all the fixes with no change. Im on an android device. Will there be a notification when this is fixed?

Also having food entries disappear! Argh, tracking calories is really fundamental for me!
