Fitbit app - Food Fitbit App Deleting Food Logs Immediately

I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Every meal is not saving. It will show up or save. Ive cleared app, restarted phone and app, and Uninstalled app nothing

Plus sign is when food disappears and on the app food section. It’s Any time of day- not specific to one meal time. It is whether I scan the item or look it up in database or use the frequent items list. Please fix this asap. It started Thursday mid day

my food hasnt logged from MFP to Fitbit since 3  December even though the exercise is logging from Fitbit to MFP.

I am on android.
As suggested I have disconnected Fitbit on the MFP website; waited 15+minutes and reconnected. This didnt work.
Cleared app cache for both MFP and Fitbit. This dodnt work.
help please!

to answer Juan Fitbit- same issue as everyone else but I've only tried the + and barcode.  It adds the food and then seconds later removes it.  Moving to another app now unless it fixes itself today.

This happens when I am trying to log any meals in the app. No meals are staying, they disappear just after returning to the dashboard as if they were never entered. It's been happening for about a week. I am using an android.

 There is no communication to users that they recognize the bug and provide a ETA. As a premium subscriber I'm disappointed by lack of communication and wonder if there are better tools out there. Super frustrating as food tracking is key. A few weeks ago the barcode scanner was down.

@Alihedgehog If this were a singular incident I might agree with you, but this is the 3rd major failure in the food system in less than a month.

Hi.

still not working on IOS app. The + let’s you enter food but it disappears second after. Doesn’t matter if lunch dinner or snack 

 

can we have eta on the fix please 😩

I use an Android. It started sometime after breakfast yesterday morning. No problems.  Tried to log lunch and it will only log one item then it disappears.

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app?

Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific?

Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base?

Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad?

Same issue with the food log stopping mid day on Dec 4,2025. Using android, app is updates, tried all the standard stuff even uninstall to no joy. As others have stated I can enter new foods or existing foods, they will be there for a second or two but then it reverts back to the log state from before the crash. I have tried all meals and snacks and even went back in history to previous days. No joy.

I agree that since Google acquired Fitbit, the experience has declined. I used the online (website version) of the dashboard, and they took that away. I’m annoyed by the daily Cardio Load suggestions (when they don’t even know what my personal cardio goals are). Now, all the constant issues with logging food. Did they acquire Fitbit just to run it in the ground and force people to use their Pixel watches!??!!

Same for me.Since yesterday, everything I entered disappeared.I'd tried clearing the cache, restarting the phone uninstalling and reinstalling, and then restarting, and nothing has fixed it

I am having similar issues as described by others. It is the second day of it not working correctly. Rebooting and/or recharging did not help.

The last things I have been able to enter were on.Wednesday, everything I put in thursday disappeared shortly after entering.

I have tried clearing the cache, restarting the phone uninstalling.The app and then restarting the phone and nothing has fixed it.
