So I have zero interest in any of the premium features, just thought it would be cool to have a parrot on my watch screen... Took premium for this sleep animal app/face, and it does literally nothing. The animal is never awake, even after it tracks 14 nights of sleep, and the animal should match your sleep pattern of going to sleep whenever you do.

my day ends at 3 or 4 AM and starts at 9 or 10 AM. with the world become increasingly nocturnal, this is a genuine standard, and the way fitbit works now totally skews my daily values in the app. i would like to be able to set my day to reset at 3 or 4 AM instead of midnight, when i’m still wide awake and active.

I have been using the Oura ring in the past, where you can show graphs and trends for pretty much all health metrics. As example, I would like to see graphs with standard deviation lines for my sleep stages like for my deep sleep, my REM sleep etc.

I am currently in a situation where I’m away from home and realized I don’t have my watch on. Therefore, the Fitbit app is in a constant state of “Looking” for the device and won’t show the last time it was synced with the app. I think this is a huge oversight and doesn’t help getting a general idea of where it could’ve been last.

I'd like afternoon naps to be included in Readiness Score and Cardio Target calculations. Currently, only nighttime sleep counts toward recovery metrics. Since Fitbit already tracks naps in sleep data, incorporating them would give a complete picture of daily rest and better reflect actual recovery status for training recommendations. On the weekly progress report email, the weight will say "weight gain" and show how far I am above my goal, even though I'm actively losing weight. Can this be split out to show the change in the past week and then separately show how far from the goal weight with a better description? It also says "same as previous week" when that's not true. Allowing left and right swipe to take you to the previous and next days would make the daily stats pages much more usable. Currently if you have scrolled down the page, you have to go back to the top to compare days. Even better would be an option to stay on the currently on screen stats as you swipe to another day. A setting to start a new day at waking or midnight would be helpful to better count step streaks. A daily option to allocate post-midnight steps to one day or the other would maximize flexibility.

Workout summaries do not explicate where it switched from actual-exercise to externally-powered propulsion. You can infer somewhat using "pace" graph, although the 'low' paces during non-actual periods could more accurately be called 'not applicable'; likewise non-actual resting-rates constitute a *sub*class of 'Below zones' category

I would like to see the heart rate tracking measure heart rate every minute vs every 5 min. This is something that would encourage whoop users to move over. Whoop measures heart rate multiple times a minute. Moderator Edit: Clarified subject

The tips would be much more interesting if they were selected based on my observed activity. Here is an example. I've averaged 17,000 steps per day over a long time, but I always get the tip to try hitting 10,000 steps per day. It looks quite funny displayed right over my recent steps activity! Currently insights very much follow a “one size fits all” approach. I would love to see smarter insights that take more factors into consideration. For instance, telling me I should figure out how to get more active because on weekends I get 4k steps more than on weekdays, even though I get 20k steps every single weekday is not helpful and not very encouraging. Make them more personalized and think through edge cases/power user situations better so they are actually helpful for everyone.
