I was trying to log my food today and it will not show any food when I put an item in. It will also not show anything in the database when I scan and I know those items are in there. Please help. I have a sense 2 and an apple

Log food feature is not working as expected, does this happen with the (+) plus sign in the dashboard or when you are in the food site in the app? On the food page.
Does this happen with every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) or only for specific? Yes, every meal.
Does this affect custom food or also the ones listed in the data base? it impacts the ones listed in the database, but not sure about custom foods.
Are you using an Android device or an iOS (iPhone /iPad? IOS

I'm still having the same issues. Nothing I add in the food tracker stays. It shows for a minute then disappears

Similar and frustrating experience starting yesterday (Dec 4) afternoon, East Coast time. Only the last food item entered for any given mealtime is saved. All others are overwritten, one food item entry allowed for each recorded meal over the course of the day. Still broken this morning (12/5). Fix me!

I’m having the same issue. This morning, when logging food into the app from my iPhone 14, the entries disappear starting at the top and working downward. Yesterday, everything I put in disappeared immediately. I haven’t tried logging food from my pc.

The issue I am experiencing with food entries disappearing in the Fitbit app is a widely reported, recent bug, likely due to a server synchronization problem with a recent app update. The standard troubleshooting steps I’ve already tried (reinstalling the app, rebooting your phone) do not permanently fix it because the problem is on Fitbit's end.

Same problem since lunchtime yesterday for me. I have an iPhone 15 and a Fitbit inspire 3, and when tapping the plus sign to add a food entry whether custom, searched or any method, it lets me add that food line then about three seconds later it disappears haha. Still happening today! I know you’ll figure it out! Just wanted to share too

IOS app. Doesn’t matter how I add the food. Within 5 minutes it’s all gone. Only started with Wednesday’s entries and has continued forward to today.

From yesterday any new food logged disappeared a few seconds after logging.
I was able to edit logs already entered but no new logs accepted. Initially it added the calories to the total then disappears leaving the total still including the calories but item gone! Then after coming out and synching, the value goes back to the pre logged total. I’d say it’s been an issue for about 24 hours now.

24 hours later, still broken. perhaps PC-Magazine should run an article about it.

It happens with any version of the log that I've attempted for around 24 hours now. I have been unable to log any meal/snack/etc. It happens whether I use custom or premade foods, scanned or searched, etc. I'm on Android, and made sure that I downloaded the most recent version of the app, restarted my phone, disconnected and reconnected my Fitbit, etc.

issue is still impacting food logging as of sometime after 5am PST december 4, 2025. just tried again, december 5, 2025 about 7am. food logging of any type, from any device at any time is basically non functional. ie broken and 100% unusable.
can we get an effective update on status.fitbit.com?

I started having issue in early November, every time I make a change to my nutrition app Fitbit was duplicating records. Now is not even logging any of my food. The last log is from Wed 12/3. It looks like there was some security update and I don't know if that is causing the issue.
I have an Iphone 13Pro and my nutrition app is Lose It!

I have had the same issue since yesterday, it doesn’t matter how I log the food within minutes it all disappears, like others I’ve done all the usual ‘fix’s’ but nothing works.
