Luxe turning itself off randomly

I've waited patiently, but your customer service is failing terribly. Below a few of the posts on this forum discussing the issue with FitBit Luxe shutting down randomly. This issue is by no means an incident. You have either sold us a faulty product, then quickly discontinued it or are deliberately bricking devices over 2 years old. Either way, you have not provided a proper solution or sometimes even a decent reply to all of the questions below. Not so luxe.

Wow! Thanks @SunsetRunner  for positing this. I’ve been having this issue for the last few months, while sleeping or walking , all of the sudden when I check the time, I can’t get it to display anything by moving my wrist or by tapping the display. I put it on the charger and it’s at least 50% charged.  So I lose the tracking for sleep & exercise while my luxe powered down. Very frustrating. I assumed it was just because my luxe is getting old. When I complain to my sister, she just says get a new device. But with Google having acquired Fitbit, I don’t know that I want to do that since we don’t know what the future holds. I too would like to see these issues fixed.

I didn’t see anything in that post about fixing the Fitbit powering itself off issue, just that the user was able to get the Fitbit to sync.

I’ve lost any and all hope that this issue will get fixed. Google customer support hasn’t even acknowledged the problem but instead offered me a 35% discount on a new model, if bought from the Google Store. 
At this point they’d have to give me money to promote their products on my wrist.

I started having this exact issue a week ago. I was even at an exercise class last week, turned it on fine, swiped to select a workout and the moment I pressed play to log it, the devise shut down.

I hadn’t even realised Fitbit was now all Google until I tried to contact them about this. Is there an email to use to reach them or do you have to go through the Google form? I’ve tried Twitter DM so I’ll see if that works, though judging by all these replies there won’t be a fit or an offer to replace it at all…
