Hi
Please can you look into adding more gym activies to the Activities section?
Items like the power plate, and exercises like pull ups are not listed, and adding items such as
power plate seems to be a difficult task, since you need the calorie count.
It would actually be nice if "all" gym activities could be added to the list. For me, this just makes sense.
Thanks!

Since each exercise type calculates calories different, it would be great to enable a hybrid workout where you can select for instance treadmill first, then circuit exercise, and end with a run. All in the same workout but tracking each part of your workout accurately for the exercise you're doing would be fantastic!

My use of Fitbit Charge HR differs according to what I'm doing.
On normal use (99% of the time) I just need time, steps and other data if I feel curious.
While I'm using it for exercises, instead, I need other data first, like the distance or heart rate as the first data on button click (because it's messy to run and click click click or tap tap tap until I reach the data I need. So my suggestion is to having the possibility to modify the data order on both uses: normal and exercise. It would be nice to have the option in the dashboard. thanks.

I love the exercise/GPS trascker function that was added with the latest update. I used to use MapMyWalk for this function but like working within the FitBit app to do the same thing. I would like, however, to be able to see my total steps for the day while using the GPS function without needing to pause my workout. Is it possible to add 'total steps' to the GPS tracking screen? Alternatively, could you enable toggling between the dashboard and GPS without pausing the workout?
Thanks for your consideration.

It's great to use the AHA's reccomendations. But fitbit didnt do it right! The AHA's recommendation of 150 minutes of moderate activity per week is only for aerobic activity (e.g., running, walking, biking). This means that any anaerobic activity (e.g., weight lifting) DOES NOT count towards that. It needs to be changed to reflect this!

my Inspire 2 gave me suggestions to improve my overall fitness level like "try running for 30 minutes 3-5 times a week". Like many users, I am partially disabled and cannot run, but I can do other forms of exercise. Please provide better personalization of the app in order to avoid ableist suggestions. Perhaps a checklist about user's abilities?

I like to play sports like basketball, badminton, and baseball. And in the mobile app, it shows up as "sport". But when I do multiple sports in a day, I am annoyed and spend a half hour to figure out which is which. What I would like is to customize and create our own activities in the mobile app. It would be very helpful.
In creating the exercises, there should be options for steps, heart rate, GPS tracking, etc. Thanks!

Would like to manually enter workouts for glutes, legs and abs, but haven’t found any options that would capture this

Option to have the HR monitor turned to "ON" for the duration that one is tracking exercise. This way, you know your fitbit Charge HR / Surge is trying it's best to grab the best HR data that it can for the duration of the exercise.
Reasoning:
During the day I have my heart rate monitor off on the Fitbit Charge HR because I don't much care what my heart rate is while I'm sitting at my desk typing out this message, Fitbit doesn't quite do anything for me with my HR data during the day, and having it off saves battery.
When I want to log an activity, I obviously want the HR monitor to be on. For this I would need my phone, sync my fitbit, and then go for my activity. What if I forget to do this before I go to the gym? Forget my phone at home the day I want to go work out from the office? And the scenarios continue.
All those scenarios could be solved in what seems like simple software update with a couple of if statements in the programming when the button is pressed to log an activity.
Please consider for urgent update!

I would like to have the functionality in the app to set annual targets.
This year I set myself a target for 2000 miles but have to go in to the dashboard and input dates etc to get this info.
Thank you

Most residential staircases are shorter than 10' tall, so the tracker doesn't usually count them. It would be nice to adjust the stairs counter so that the first flight registers after 7' or 8'. Subsequent flights (within a few seconds) should still register at 10' intervals, so that traversing multiple flights would still work about the same as it does today.

Hi Fitbit team,
I recently got my fitbit watch and love it. Of course I understand that you cannot add every sport to your activity categories. (But) I am doing a lot of motocross, which is a very physically demanding sport, and I was wondering which activity category you would suggest to chose. Mountain biking doesn't really fit. What do you understand under "motorcycle"? would that be cruising on the street, sport bike racing, or maybe motocross?
If you could add motocross to your activities, that would be great!
This challenge is a variation of the goal day challenge where the steps goal is defined based on one's daily average (let's say past 30 days or so).
Let’s say you have a desktop job and make 5,000 steps daily on average, this becomes your goal to beat: if you do 6000 during the challenge you get 120% for improvement and would beat your friend with a daily average of 10,000 steps who did 11,000 (or 110%).
This way, friends with different fitness levels or activities can still compete in the same challenge: This would make challenges winnable and fun for everyone!

Hello;
I believe it would be much of a benefit to include "riding" exercise's. It would function similarly to the Bike exercise, giving you distance traveled, time, maybe even for the snow sports: Mapping to a compatible app of the exact path taken on the mountain. This concept could also be used for the dry sports, i.e skateboarding.

I don't remember to start an activity when I'm just going for a walk. Furthermore, sometimes my walks take hours as I go around visiting places or people. Would love a way to turn on the option to track GPS when an automatic walk is detected.

Hi
I do bike racing on tracks of under 2 km length, with each track of an individual size. I think the fitbit ionic should allow you to set what the length of the track is for running, biking, swimming so you can count your laps and figure out lap times. Currently, the option is too large and standardised. Its nice the GPS can map out your total distance, etc, but other fitness apps available on phones allow for customised lap distances, etc. I much rather have it all on my fitbit ionic. cheers

I would like to see the ability to add/remove exercises from the VERSA 3. You cannot change the options on the phone, the Fitbit App, or on the Fitbit Dashboard.

When you share a picture after a run or workout from fitbit it would be nice to have the full time shown in the stats at the bottom and not just the minutes. My fitbit shared photo just shows the minutes but other apps such as run keeper will show minutes and seconds. I would love it if fitbit could incorporate that into the data shown. I’m trying to decrease the number of apps I need to use to record the data I want. This would be so much easier than having to go back through my workouts to find my full time if I don’t remember it or log it in a different app.
Having 10k steps etc as a goal is great but it would be fab if we could set active calorie goal instead. Ie achieve 500 active calories (500 calories over and above resting calories used). I know we can set a goal for total calories used but I'd like to see a goal for additional calories used through exercise.

Similar to Strava - track and display online/app my top distance/times for common races. 1m, 3k, 5k, 10k, 13.1, 21.6. Use my exercise to determine my ranking against each distance. In premium, analysis of how I am doing against my best times and strategies to push forward - including suggestions for rest/recovery.

Prior to purchasing my Charge 3, I called Fitbit sales and asked if this was a feature of this watch, and I was assured that it was. Turns out, it's not. And I'd like to add that there was no confusion on the part of the sales person I spoke with - he assured me that he knew exactly what I was talking about. Here's the problem with the watch. When I'm in the Weights app, I'm unable to pause the program to set an interval timer; you have to completely exit the program to set the timer. When I called today to complain, the fitbit representative told me that with the other exercise apps, you are able to pause the program and initiate a timer. The problem, as she explained to me, is that the exercise programs have to be running for a minimum of 15 minutes or so before this ability kicks in. Obviously, when you're weight lifting, you can easily complete 15 reps in as little as 30 seconds, so you need to have the ability to pause the program & set a timer from the start. This is a gross oversight, and I hope a resolution will be included in the next update or sooner. My regular smartwatch has this ability, but my Charge 3, which is an actual fitness watch, doesn't? That's pretty ridiculous.
