Please consider using a more sustainable/recyclable item such as steel/metal for Fitbit Charge 2.

Make a new option of Fitbit Bands to be made out of recycled materials like polyester, plastic bottles, plastic fibres etc.
This would of course help the environment by re-using harmful materials and I believe a lot more people would be willing to buy a 'Green band' which does the same job as the others whilst helping the environment.

Once a tracker is passed the 1 year warranty, there is no technical support or way to fix the devices. The support team goes through the troubleshooting list, but if nothing works and you are passed the warranty, all that is offered is a discount to buy another product hoping that the same issue doesn’t occur. What about the defective device? Shouldn’t there be a place to get it repaired?

Why sell a $200 watch with a face and have no way to repair it if something happens? You expect us to dish out another $200 like that? You tried to compete with Apple but failed. You have the revenue and money to create this kind of watch but not for support? Makes NO sense.

offer a vegan leather style strap (perhaps PU leather) so that people who don't want to wear animal products get to still enjoy smart style. With the Fitibit vegetarian community sitting at approx 500k this would be a smart idea, with lots of people eyeing up the leather alternative. I've just bought one off ebay but would love for Fitbit to look into the needs of the fasting growing community on earth - vegans (and vegetarians)! It's more environmentally friendly too

In Future products I'd like you to make it possible to replace the built in battery with a new one when it no longer holds a charge. This is my main gripe when it comes to fitbit devices. While I've not had any of my devices batteries fail as yet, I'd like to be able to replace them when they do.
The Ionic should have had a replaceable battery (and don't try saying it would ruin the water resistance ability, I can drop my phone in 50 meters of water and still replace the battery myself and I've had dive watches that can go to 200m and still replace the battery)
Even if people have to send the device in to have the battery replaced, it would be preferable than having to buy an entire new device. So please for future devices please consider adding the ability to have the battery replaced even if only by authorized service technicians.
I have a brand new Fit Aria (it is my second Aria, since the first one I purchase broke after a few days).... I haven't opened it since it was purchased. Just a week later the new Aria 2 was launched.
Knowing that there is a new and a more accurate tracker already available, I certainly prefer to use it. But then I cant spend another 130 USD.
So I really appreciate if you can offer an upgrade program, where I can exchange my brand New Aria to Aria 2.
Please offer some kind of Trade In Program. I am sure not just me, many existing users will appreciate it and will be whiling to replace their current device to new one.
If the trade in program can be expanded to other brand trackers, certainly you can expand your user base.
Hoping for a positive response.

My Fitbit Charge HR just stopped syncing for no apparent reason. My only option is to purchase a new Fitbit. Why not offer an option to refurbish a customer's fitbit?
Moderator edit: Labels
My Fitbit HR was not holding charge so received a replacement for free after contacting customer support. I am disappointed that I was only advised to recycle the old unit with local e-waste facility. I don't mind spending my own time tracking down a place because I care. But Amazon offers free e-recycling program for their old products, not just defective units. Given how many Fitbit I've seen on people's wrists I'll think twice before purchasing a Fitbit in the future (received my current one as a gift).

One of my high school students, and a neighbor, lost his leg above the knee in a hunting accident. This was just 2 months ago. He is amazing in the way he is handling his new life challenge.
I recently asked Fitbit if they had a program to donate appropriate devices to such individuals to help them with recovery and motivation. Fitbit asked me to post my question here so I can get the Community involved and to hopefully bring support to this idea. If you have thoughts on this and would like to share them with Fitbit please do so.

I've been a fitbit user for a little over a year now, receiving one as a gift last Christmas. Now seeing how my flex is so behind the times, I would like to upgrade to one of the HR ones. However, spending another 130-150 is very difficult. Wanting Fitbit to offer an upgrade or trade in program to allow for this to be more affordable.
