I use Alltrails to log my hikes and walks, I much prefer it to MapMyWalk (MapMyRun, etc).  Is there any possibile way to connect my Fitbit account to AllTrails?  I have an Inspire (not HR).

-Komoot allows to plan outdoor activities (biking, etc.) in advance
-It provides turn-by-turn navigation commands along the route
-Displaying these navigation commands on the Charge would really add to the functionality
-A short vibration could ensure you to never miss a turn
-For better orientation, a small map could be displayed

With the release of iOS 16, there is now an Apple Fitness app, and I would like to have my Fitbit data available to view in Apple Fitness.

Fitbit has recently enabled Android Health Connect support for simplified health data connectivity between Android apps. However, there are only a handful of data types that are supported--and all of them are WRITE only. Fitbit should enable additional data types for write AND read, such as Heart Rate, Exercise Sessions, Nutrition, etc.

Weight watchers app pulls info re activity from fitbit app but not vice versa.  I would love for the fitbit app to pull info from my nutrional info from my weight watchers app to incorporate a more well rounded view of my health/nutrition/activity on the fitbit dashboard.

Fitbit should really consider adding Noom as a 3rd party app.

After the introduction of the female health tracking on the fitbit app I think it would be great if fitbit were to offer a feature to join up with natural cycles. Entering data about your periods into more than one app is a waist of time. And the sleep data on fitbit will really help with accuracy on natural cycles! Please please team up!!

I wear a My Zone heart rate monitor. It truly has enhanced the intensity of my workouts. It would be great if you could figure out a way to sync with their data. I have heard that they are coming out with a watch but there is no way that I am giving up my Ionic.

Hi!

I've always enjoyed running with Runkeeper, but now I like the Fitbit app very much as well. But data only flows from Fitbit to Runkeeper, not vice versa. I would really love a bi-directional flow. That would really be my cue to buy a Surge.

Will natural cycles be able to sync to fitbit devices in the near future? Have always been a fitbit user but will consider changing to another device (apple watch /oura ring) if this feature does not become available soon.

Like many, I've been thrilled with the addition of the female cycle tracking available on the fitbit, however, as has been pointed out here in the community that the calender method is unreliable for anyone who doesn't have a perfect 28 day cycle.

I understand that it is a huge undertaking to add the more accurate basal body temperature monitoring as, it requires not only the hardware to take a basal temperature, but also the algorithms to make the data collected usable. So that is why my suggestion is to partner with www.fertilityfriend.com. they are the gold standard when it comes to cycle tracking for females. Not only is it extremely accurate but it takes a holistic approach to a womens cycle and offers a completely individualized cycle tracking experience.

Women are spending upwards of 250 dollars on fertility speciffic trackers like Ava and Ovusense and these products still have plenty of drawbacks such as reliability and terrible algorithms. And, as the the industry is only going growing,  how much more would women be willing to spend that money if they were not only getting a fertility tracker, but also all the amazing benefits that fitbit has to offer?  Especially since fitbit is far more geared to females than thier competitors, its very likely that most women already know and  love the fitbit brand and would gladly trust it with their female health data.

I have both a fitbit and an ava tracker, and like many i struggle to use both as both require the use of your non dominenet hand. And like many ava users, i hate the algorithms and interface the tracker uses. Our solution as ava users (and many ovusense users too) is to take the temperature data that Ava provides and input it into my fertility friend calendar. This provides the convenience of basal tracking while i sleep with the reliability of a trusted algorithm.

If you were to develop a tracker with a temperature  monitor and partner with fertility friend for thier unparalleled algorithms, you would not only be providing a unique all round tracker that could truly distinguish its self from competitors, but also you would have acess to the massive user base of fertility fertility friend who are all hungry for a device that syncs data with the most trusted fertility platform. All this in addition to cutting out all the work of the very important data translation side.

I would be happy to discuss this idea further at any time. Thank you

It seems odd that the Fitbit can broadcast Heart rate date over BTLE. Then other devices lie bike computers and phone apps could have access to HR data. As is it seems stupid to have to use a second HR sense when already wearing Fitbit. I think this could be done with just a software update.

I am very actively looking for a new system for my road bike.    Fitbit almost does what I need but it can't record cadence and any of the others (Garmin or Wahoo) that can record cadence can't access the HR data on the Fitbit.   Looks like I'll have to move over to Garmin

I'm using an oculus quest 2, it -like the fitbit- has bluetooth, so should in theory be syncable.
Wouldn't it be great if it could automatically detect and log VR-usage as an exercise? I think this is something you'd both mutually want. I'm sure oculus would love accurate health data on their platform, as I'm sure you would love accurate tracking.

Since FitBit already has a mic, make it possible to connect to the CoughPro app to track chronic cough patterns.

As many have said before me, meditation is a great source of health for many of us. I take pride in the numbers in my Fitbit app but I can’t integrate my meditations from Insight Timer to Fitbit.

There is a really cool indoor cycling app called Zwift and it would be great if this can be integrated with Fitbit (I have a Charge HR). Zwift has already integrated with Strava but it seems Fitbit Surge is the only one that can link with Strava which is a pain.

Eating habits are critical to physical health and well being. It would be cool if Fitbit integrated with a meal delivery service such as Blue Apron, Weightwatchers, or even GrubHub to automatically log food and suggest meals dependant on what you want to achieve. Fitbit can potentially provide a personal meal service plan to lose weight, gain muscle, or just maintain what you got going on. This can help make it easier to eat right and accomplish health goals!

I'd love to see a feature that allows us to track out fasting times and eating windows, perhaps FitBit could implement it's own fasting program or team up with an existing fasting app/program. It would be beneficial for a lot of people trying to lose or maintain weight while keeping their phone storage low.

Partner with Fertility trackers (Flow, Ovuview, Ovia, Eve, Maya, etc) to sync and/or import data.

The Netherlands Nutrition Centre (https://www.voedingscentrum.nl/nl/service/english.aspx / Voedingscentrum) has a vast database of reliable food information concerning practically every food available in the Netherlands. It would be helpful if Fitbit could import this database to their Food tracker app or could sync with the app Mijn Eetmeter.

Being able to see your heart rate on a variety of streams has become very popular today. Some Third Party chest straps are currently the only ones that support showing LIVE heart rate readings while the streamer is playing a horror game or anything else intense. Its fun and engaging for the audience/chatters to see what the streamers heart rate is in real time right there on the stream video. I noticed that fitbit and a lot of other third party companies have yet to incorporate a way for us fitbit owners to see real time heart rate readings on streaming software like OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). This would also be a great way for free advertising if the fitbit logo is seen next to the heart rate reading, millions of people would see it while browsing streams. Thank you for your time reading this and I hope you consider it! Thanks!

I would really appreciate the possibility of synchronisation of my Fitbit Sense with Google fit and Adidas running. Also I don't understand, why SPO2 is not working during running and is only working during the sleeping.

I use the Zero app to tracking fasting. I would love to have this kind of tracking incorporated into the Fitbit app. Or, failing that, at least be able to connect my Fitbit app with the Zero app so I don't have to enter weight, sleep, etc into the Zero APP.
