In the past, I have been able to create a custom activity and then later select it from a list when I do that activity again. My older custom activities still show, but now when I create a new one, it isn't saved. So I have to create it all over again every time, and now my list of custom activities is super long, because it has the same one listed over and over. I like the new choice of "Outdoor Workout" on the Charge 4. With the regular workout option, GPS is not functional but I like being able to go back and choose the specific activity in the map with the Edit Option at the top. There should be a rests feature for Fitbit. When you pause a workout (run, bike, walk, other workout), it should be labeled as a rest. In the app, you could see how long it was, the change in heart rate and maybe more.   Moderator edit: Subject for clarity and labels. ... View more

Being able to delete incorrect heart rate data would be very useful, the first day I got my fitbit Charge 3 the resting heart rate was wildly inaccurate, and I have not had that issue again since but that one day is throwing off my cardiovascular fitness rating. Today, I was on the treadmill for 45 minutes, and Versa reported 75 steps...that's less than 2 steps per minute.  Rather than swinging my arms, I was holding onto the stationary arm rails.  The minimum number of steps displayed could take physical characteristics into account so that a more reasonable estimate could be made.  Alternatively, a minimum number of steps per minute could be used.  All I know is that reporting fewer than 2 steps per minute is definitely insufficient.   Moderator Edit: Clarified subject ... I love my fitbit charge 2 but I have been wanting to upgrade to a watch with GPS (for running). I considered the ionic but I am hesitant because it is missing some running features that the apps on my phone have (and that other watches have). Can we get alerts at .25 mile (I do a lot of intervals at .25 mi)? It is also important to me to have cadence (stride rate) and possibly a rolling mile pace. Both myself and my wife have upgraded to the GPS trackers about 2 months ago (change 4, versa 3) and sometime the GPS takes a bit longer to connect, we normally stretch during this time but forget to press the start button once connected. I have a Charge 3 and I use it and the app to track everything...food, workouts etc. When I want to add an exercise type that I am doing that day and for how long I love having so many options to choose from but the one that is missing is “Core”. I was happy to find horseback riding as an exercise type. However it could use a few tweaks to make it better.   - likely because of the similarities between the movement of a horse trot, to climbing stairs, the exercise tracker thought I climbed 47 flights of stairs for a 73 minute horse back ride. I am not sure if climbing stairs has a different caloric value, but if it does then it would really throw of my daily caloric burn.   - steps in general, my Fitbit thinks I took a ton more steps than I actually did. While at a trot it might make sense to count the steps since I do have to put some effort in, walking should not. I'd like to be able to see on my tracker the number of minutes I've spent in each heart rate zone that day. It would be just like the Active Minutes display on Charge 2, but instead of showing active minutes it would show fat burn minutes, cardio minutes, and peak minutes. Americans can benefit from small amounts of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity throughout the day. The first edition of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans stated that only 10-minute bouts of physical activity counted toward meeting the guidelines. The second edition removes this requirement to encourage Americans to move more frequently throughout the day as they work toward meeting the guidelines."   In 2015 you changed your policy from counting all active minutes to only those in groups of at least 10 min. each - you said as per the CDC guidelines.
