I use the PEAR fitness app and would love to be able to use heart rate info from my fitbit to do heart rate specific workouts with PEAR and/or send workout info from pear to fitbit.

I would be THRILLED if this were useful for sympto-thermal tracking! Honestly, that is the only fertility awareness tracking that is valuable to our doctors & can be used for both avoiding and achieving pregnancy. I think that FitBit should reach out to Toni Weschler to create a collaborative app with her Ovagraph App. She has done decades of research and development to make fertility tracking accurate. All we need FitBit to do is make it accessible via the watch we wear constantly. www.tcoyf.com *I did it (to avoid) for most of 20 yrs. It is accurate and understandable when done according to the TCOYF methods. I also was trained in NAPRO through the Catholic diocese in Augusta, Ga. NAPRO works for those with fairly regular cycles but you have complications when you are breastfeeding or have other health issues involving hormones or choose to use birth control or if you/your partner work swing shifts. The calendar method is not useful for much more than knowing when to expect a period when using BCPs. *** Until then, can you please let us track our own symptoms? (I need to track my migraines, libido, and sympto-thermal details.)

OurPath is a lifestyle programme designed to help people who are at risk of type 2 diabetes and other weight related health conditions. The programme makes use of fitness tech and as a Fitbit enthusiast I was disappointed to find that Fitbit does not support the OurPath app. Considering the fact that other big name wearables have integrated with the app, I think Fitbit is missing out. As OurPath is growing in scope and influence, it would be great if Fitbit could make OurPath a compatible app.

This is an algorithm developed by the Army to maximize alertness. Fitbit trackers' activity and sleep input data for the user could help the 2b-alert app inform you what your optimum caffeine intake should be. Further information on the app itself can be found here: https://techlinkcenter.org/technologies/2b-alert-personalized-alertness-cognitive-performance-app/

#1 - Calorie tracker. I am a member of WW (formerly Weight Watchers) and while I count points, the calorie conversion is automatically calculated on that app. It would be great if this data fed to my fitbit.
#2 - Fitness tracker. I am also a member of Cyclebar and my rides are tracked on THAT app. While I can switch my watch to track "spinning", it would be great (once again) if the Cyclebar data fed to my fitbit.
#3 - Integration with Apple Health. I think it's ridiculous that I have to purchase a 3rd party tool to do this.
Just a few thoughts.

I would love it if my Fitbit could connect to my Google Assistant to help log items like food or water . Even if I'm home I'd love for Google to tell me it's time to move . I also would like the female health tracking to get a slight improvement. For instance , the app predicts the period , but if it's wrong I want to let it know and stop getting reminders that my period is almost done when in reality I'm not on my period. Check out my period calendar (the app with the flower on it and that's what the app is actually called) it allows the user to log that the prediction was incorrect then intuitively adjusts to predict actuals based on history.

I think it would be nice if you could take your postmates order and have it synced to your fitbit so that it automatically uploads your order and categorizes it for you! However 8th just a suggestion. 🙂

Like many, I've been thrilled with the addition of the female cycle tracking available on the fitbit, however, as has been pointed out here in the community that the calender method is unreliable for anyone who doesn't have a perfect 28 day cycle.
I understand that it is a huge undertaking to add the more accurate basal body temperature monitoring as, it requires not only the hardware to take a basal temperature, but also the algorithms to make the data collected usable. So that is why my suggestion is to partner with www.fertilityfriend.com. they are the gold standard when it comes to cycle tracking for females. Not only is it extremely accurate but it takes a holistic approach to a womens cycle and offers a completely individualized cycle tracking experience.
Women are spending upwards of 250 dollars on fertility speciffic trackers like Ava and Ovusense and these products still have plenty of drawbacks such as reliability and terrible algorithms. And, as the the industry is only going growing, how much more would women be willing to spend that money if they were not only getting a fertility tracker, but also all the amazing benefits that fitbit has to offer? Especially since fitbit is far more geared to females than thier competitors, its very likely that most women already know and love the fitbit brand and would gladly trust it with their female health data.
I have both a fitbit and an ava tracker, and like many i struggle to use both as both require the use of your non dominenet hand. And like many ava users, i hate the algorithms and interface the tracker uses. Our solution as ava users (and many ovusense users too) is to take the temperature data that Ava provides and input it into my fertility friend calendar. This provides the convenience of basal tracking while i sleep with the reliability of a trusted algorithm.
If you were to develop a tracker with a temperature monitor and partner with fertility friend for thier unparalleled algorithms, you would not only be providing a unique all round tracker that could truly distinguish its self from competitors, but also you would have acess to the massive user base of fertility fertility friend who are all hungry for a device that syncs data with the most trusted fertility platform. All this in addition to cutting out all the work of the very important data translation side.
I would be happy to discuss this idea further at any time. Thank you

I use Dario. It only takes an iPhone or Android phone. Love it. Everything is kept in one device. I wish there was an integration between Dario app and Fitbit Dario would still keep track of my testing but could sync with Fitbit food log. So when test results are out of wack, my Dario will have record of what I have eaten.

I would love to see the Relax Melodies App by Ipnos available on my Versa. I use the app on my phone frequently and it would be very convenient to have my saved mixes available to listen to when I'm relaxing after a workout, trying to fall asleep, or just want to listen to ambient or nature noises.

I really enjoy using the Nike app as it is informational, very motivational and provides lots of support with personalised plans and workouts. However, I also love my Fitbit as I can track my sleep and keep motivated throughout the day. Now that I have the Fitbit Versa I wanted to be able to go for runs with just the Fitbit and my bluetooth headphones however then I wouldn't be able to track the run on the Nike running app which I want to do because although the Fitbit tracks steps and heart rate, it doesn't give you a breakdown of the run with pace timings etc. All in all, it would be awesome if you could connect with the Nike Running App!

Like many people I have high blood pressure. Omron now gave a fit watch that tracks accurate bp. I would prefer to keep my charge 3 and have omron bp monitors integrate the stats .but if it's not possible I'll have little choice but to swap to an omron bp watch, which is bulkier. I'd much rather stay fit it and use my current omron. Please consider fit it! You'll keep more users and avoid a Kodak moment.

I’ve had several Fitbits... Flex, Charge, Charge 2, Blaze and now Ionic ....With Ionic, especially, we are using our workout trackers that are built in. Why isn’t there a way to specifically see your individual workouts you’ve recorded right on your App’s Dashboard ? .... and we should be able to both “share” and “post to social media” our individual workouts 😊....It would be a great marketing tool for Fitbit also as others would see the posts and be inspired/motivated to buy one of their own . We also use the fitness tracker “MyZone” at our gym and we share/post those workouts, but we’d love to be able to share/post our Fitbit workouts too ! Is this something that can be added to Fitbit app ?

Hi! I love my fitbit charge 2 and I am thinking to switch to the charge 3... But I need the integration with other apps like Sleep of Urban Android because I use the app to record and manage my sleep cycles... I have seen a thread where this discussion was taken and I have try use tools like ifft, but without success... I have not been able to integrate both apps.

I'm a parent and a gamer. In my household I want to set a good example for my kids and also set responsible limits on screen time. The Xbox for example has a great parental setting that allows you to control the screen time your child is allowed to use his/her console. This is good but it's a static limit of hours per day and occasionally we end up talking about extending this for various reasons. Sometimes I do and sometimes i don't, but my child has no control over this. I was also recently talking to him about getting a fitbit and i realised that there was a great opportunity for a partnership here. As parents, we want to encourage our children to be more active and my son, while quite active, would gladly spend most of the day playing Xbox. So, the proposal is that you are able to link your fitbit profile to your Xbox Live account. If there was a mechanism within the Parental settings where you could set a step or activity time exchange for screen time, the children would have some control over increasing their screen time. X steps = X screen time. Set this at a weekly or daily total and give parents the control over what the exchange rate is to give flexibility. This would make physical activity a challenge and it would incentivise this positive behaviour while rewarding the child with something they want. If they are not active, they are not able to sit on the console at home. Obviously you'd be able to extend this program to reward or incentivise various activities that linked back to way reward or a page where the child could select what they want to exchange things for. In a perfect world, you'd link your children's fitbit profile to YouTube, Xbox, Playstation, iPad and allow the child to exchange their activities on any of these devices, but managed as a sum total of screen time. I'm keen to see this idea happen and hear the thoughts of others. PS, I don't like that to register here, you have to sign a disclaimer saying that anything you write immediately becomes the property of a multi million/billion dollar listed company with absolutely no compensation to the generator of said good idea. This idea may be nothing, but if any idea from here is ever commercialised, I really hope they'd treat the idea generators with the respect and compensate them appropriately.

So many bariatric patients use Fitbit and Baritastic. It would be wonderful to sync them up to view progress (e.g. Nutrition, Sleep and Physical Data) Right now my physical activity sync's but my nutrition does not.

I would really like to see data from my Resmed CPAP under the sleep category. Resmed seems to be one of the more common ones I have found. It would just make sense since 50 million people suffer from sleep apnea. I think it would also be a better selling point.

Pokemon Go is soon to roll out a feature allowing external apps (namely Apple Health and Google Fit) to track steps and distance without needing to have the Pokemon Go app running. It would be great if Fitbit's services could be supported as well. As it stands, Google Fit and Apple Health do not officially work with Fitbit.

I would love an on-device water intake tracking panel. Under the header “Water” there could be the same shortcuts as on the app: glass (8oz), water bottle (16oz), and lg bottle (20oz) for quick add throughout the day. As a deployed soldier, my phone only works on WiFi at the barracks. Without having my phone on me during the day I often loose track of my water intake and think a shortcut on my FitBit would better hold me accountable during work hours. Thank you for your considerations!

I have only just received my Fitbit Charge 2 today and want to integrate it into my live streams, I just don't know how..... I like to stream games in general and I think it would be cool to be able to integrate my heart rate into my streams when I am playing "Beat Saber" (which REALLY gets the blood pumping!) or when I play Horror games (I also have jump scare alerts turned on) OR just when it's a REALLY intense PvP game close to a win! So, even if it's a site that shows your heart rate in real time, app or API. That'd be great.
