Now that all the bugs are worked out, I am a massive fan of my Versa. 4. However, there's one lingering issue that I have noticed everybody is asking about. Instead of Amazon Alexa, we all would greatly appreciate Gemini or Google Assistant in Google products like Versa 4. It just makes sense and besides Google provides a better product.

I see a lot of posts on the Forums to bring back Google Assistant to Sense 2. While I am a huge proponent of this, not everyone has Google Assistant. Not everyone has Alexa either, and very few of us have both. Those of us who do have both tend to use one or the other. Giving us the option to choose might bring in more potential customers.

Hello, I pre-ordered Sense 2 and waited for a month. Then I'm disappointed with the device without Google Assistant but only Amazon Alexa. Alexa doesn't support our region (Taiwan) and language (Trad. Chinese). Also, when notification comes, it always shows the app logo for too long then the content, please shorten the duration. Since the watch has built in microphone and speaker. Why we can't make a quick phone call using the watch by using Google assistant feature. That's will make life much easier specially if you want to call one of the family members really quick? Moderator Edit: Clarified subject

Hey fitbit What about this idea. Control the Philips Hue Lights or any smart home device at home with the Google Assistant on the fitbit. I do not need let to know the whole gym when I start an excercise... It is way cooler to sit on the balcony and tell Google to switch on the outdoor lights. Moderator Edit: Clarified subject

I really appreciate having on the Versa 3 the built-in option to answer phone calls. However, the volume of the microphone is really low. Would you consider doing something about that? Thank you.

Plz, add voice activation (like - Hey Sense!) to Fitbit Sense. But it should be different from "Ok Google" or "Hey Google", so a smartphone won't activate its assistant instead. Thanks in advance! Best, Alex Moderator Edit: Clarified subject

Versa 2 and 3 both have some sort of voice assistant. I don't see why the original versa should be left out of the fun. PLEASE add a voice assistant to the original versa. Moderator Edit: Updated label

Currently on my Sense the Google Assistant doesn't talk the response back. It is just text on the screen. The Alexa Assistant will voice back to you. I would like to see that same functionality with the Google Assistant Moderator Edit: Clarified subject and updated label

Currently when you receive a WhatsApp message, we have the option of responding by voice dictation, with quick responses and with emoticons. It would be very useful to be able to reply to whatsapp messages with a voice audio.

As a long-time Fitbit user and with a newly amputated arm, I don't have the secondary hand to control the buttons, relying heavily on the clock face being able to do what it needs to do on the screen. The new Google Assistant could use a brand new clock face to engage it. Help, please!

I think y'all should add a Walkie Talkie feature to the Fitbit Versa 3 and Sense since they have speakers and microphones. This way you can "cheer" or "taunt" your Fitbit friends and make the exercise even more fun. Plus it adds a new feature for communicating without pulling the phone out. I have a Versa 2. I can ask Alexa to start a FITBIT function like "Start the countdown timer." Wonderful. But apparently we cannot ask "Start Walk Exercise" or Start Bike Exercise." REALY??? That would be SO useful.

It’d be great if the microphone on Versa 2 could be used for Siri on a paired iPhone instead of or in addition to Alexa e.g., Siri via the button and Alexa via the app). Siri’s available with Bluetooth earbuds and headphones connected to iPhones, but I’m not sure if the lack of a speaker would rule out the possibility for Versa 2. The addition of Siri access would be a significant feature, since it would provide greater control over music on the phone than what’s already on the watch (e.g., the ability to start playing music or to bring up a different album), the ability to add iCloud based reminders, the ability to send messages, etc.

I would suggest that the Alexa features be available for ALL Versa Devices since we are paying a lot of money for the expensive product. When I looked at buying a smartwatch I looked for 2 thing; - A microphone -A way for me to create my own apps Both of the features are on the Versa 2 however they do not work in conjunction. I really need a smartwatch that would be able to record audio. This should be easy since the Fitbit versa 2 already has a microphone built in, and it would only require some software editing. I have read multiple pages in the community blogs that have been asking if any of the Fitbit series has the audio or video recording feature. I understand that video does not make sense because of storage, and the size and quality of the camera that would need to be incorporated. I would love if the Versa 2 would be able to use the features it already has. Also I would love it if the voice recording feature would be available in the sdk if that is not too much to ask. Maybe in the future since the Versa 2 has Alexa built in we can start controlling Amazon music. Alot of people pay for the HD service on Amazon music and it would be really nice to use Alexa to control it. Alexa is part of Amazon so why not have the App available? Hello! I have an android phone and I love using the voice text/quick reply on my fitbit Versa 2. What I would love to see is a quick list of my most recent contacts with the ability to send them a 'quick reply' or voice text them. If this isn't possible, then maybe update Alexa to be able to include this. Alexa already has the ability to read contacts so hopefully this can be something they can add in the future. Just a quick suggestion, would it be possible to reply to text messages via the wireless headphone going forward? If on the iOS or any other phone have the option to reply, instead of having a keypad because the watch is so small, could a facility be put in place were we speak the reply through the headphones and that then writes the message out to reply? Voice to text msg response would be great for this watch! Bluetooth headphones usually have mics on them and that's what I use for working out and listening to music Moderator edit: Updated subject for clarity.
