I believe it would be a good idea to add the exergame "Dance Dance Revolution" to the list of exercises. The game itself can be very intense at high levels, and has often been discussed inside the community as a sport, including topics such as shoe choice, diet, and cross training with both other dance games such as Pump it Up and out of game activities like running to improve our skills. For now, I'm going to be logging it as "Treadmill", however I'm not sure how accurately steps can be utilized to track the activity. I personally play without the bar most of the time, but the predominant playstyle involves holding the bar located behind the player to allow for less weight on a player's feet, and thus quicker motions. Even playing without the bar, I know that half the time my arms are somewhat still in an attempt to keep my balance while other times moving rapidly to continue to balance during more complicated step patterns. While I'm not sure how many people wearing a Fitbit play the series, with the release of DDR A to US arcades about two years ago, the community has sprang back to life, and I do know that there are other players tracking their heart rate as an alternative goal to score.
