when we answer calls, we love the convenience of the Versa. While I understand that they cant answer calls and talk to the person on your wrist, we could try to make it where we kinda can. Where when we answer a phone call, we can turn on the speaker. and raise the volume. Like if we are swimming, and don't have a water resistant phone, just turn on speaker and talk. The default volume for answered calls is always too low. Having to turn it up for every call while driving is dangerous and defeats the ability to use it as a hands free device. Please allow the users to set their volume defaults for calls, music, whatever. We know what we need and it is quite annoying to have to adjust it every time. ... View more

I was recently using a Zen watch and I loved the feature of being able to turn the sound off when getting notification if I was wearing my watch.  It seems like my new Versa doesn't have that option.  I don't want to have to put my phone on silent when at work and then try to remember to turn the sound back on when I'm off.  I don't plan on wearing my watch all day.  My watch is the first thing I take off when I get home.  Could this feature be added?  I'm sure a lot of people would find that helpful.  Either at work or at a MOVIE.  Now, I'll have to remember to silence my phone when I'm at the movie theater    Moderator edit: Topic for clarification ... I would like to see the display on the Versa watch include the calorie deficit. Right now, it's only available on the app.    Dashboard on the app. It says I have 665 calories left, but that doesn't include my deficit. When you click on the food icon from the dashboard. I upgraded to a Versa from a Charge 2. I enjoyed the variety of celebration messages once I completed my hourly activity goal, but it seems with the Versa all I get is "Nicely Done 250/250". It would be nice to have the variety on the Versa. ... View more

It would be great if the time continued to be displayed no matter what screen you were on. Currently, the only screen on my Versa where you can see the time is the watch face. I would love to be able to see what time it is without leaving an app screen or the music control screen! I just purchased the versa and so far I like it except it doesn't have the lap run option. I upgraded from the surge and it had the option that didn't use GPS to count your laps and times while running. You would press the bottom right button and it would count the lap and give you the time. I think this is the most useful feature for running properly. Garmin does it. Would love to have one that integrates with the workout app. The problem with using an app is that you either get the exercise or the app, but not both at the same time. So it should be integrated directly as a feature.    As far as feedback goes - maybe slow vibrations? Just read the Charge 4 manual, as it can already be found on your website: https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_charge_4_en_US.pdf 😉   The feature I miss now that GPS is on board is to log a GPS coordinate and being able to navigate back to this coordinate (e.g. by displaying the distance to the logged coordinate). This has multiple use cases: - Find back your car - Don't get lost when going for a walk - Find back points of interest in general.   First suggestion is to be able to log a position and find it back (car, starting point of a walk) Next suggestion is to be able to save multiple GPS coordinates in the mobile phone app from the tracker and select later one of those to find it back using the tracker. Third suggestion is to even be able to enter a coordinate (geocaching, meeting location, ..) in the app and sync it to the tracker to find it.   In all use cases, the tracker will guide you by giving the distance to the GPS location. If you are getting closer, you are moving in the right direction. Even more sophisticated would be if the tracker displays the angle of adjustment towards the straight path to the coordinate, so that you can find the fastest route.   Moderator Edit: Clarified subject and updated label ... I am new to smart watches and fitbit versa is my first one.  My boyfriend has the apple watch and some functions he has looks smart, such as: can read the whole messages and previous messages sent like on a mobile. Can this be added to the new fitbit versa? It would be nice to be able to see the total day’s step count during the walk activity in addition to the steps since you started the activity! I own a Blaze, and when I get a text, it stays on the watch until I CHOOSE to delete it. The Versa is not programmed that way. As soon as you open the message app on your phone, the messages on the watch disappear. This is not acceptable behavior to me, and therefore I am sending my long relationship with Fitbit. I just don't get why you would have a behavior like that. Also, I could not get any phone calls, or the test call notification to work on 2 Versas with a Samsung S7, after hours of trying.
