Could we please have an option to select from a list of possible vibration patterns for our Silent Alarms.   Selectable Vibration Patterns   Flex Default (3 long, pause, repeat 3 long pattern until stopped) Charge Default (3 long, pause, 3 long, snooze for 9 minutes, 3 long, pause, 3 long) [NEW] Rapid (3 quick, pause, repeat 3 quick pattern until stopped) [NEW] Rising Scale (1 quick, pause, 2 quick, pause, 3 quick, pause, 3 long, pause,repeat 3 long until stopped)   The patterns and repititions seem to differ between the Flex and Charge without any ability to change them back. I found the Flex vibrations to be a little too harsh and I felt they had the potential to wake up my wife.   I would personally be happy if the setting was per configured alarm or globally for the tracker. This is way overdue.  Fitbit needs to add the "sync now" feature to the dashboard of the Fitbit website instead of having to go find "Fitbit connect" when you want to manually sync your device. One of the best aspects of the Fitbit app is that it plays nice with all platforms, and it encourages the social aspect of exercise.  I love the fact that I can brag about my latest badge, and then share that on Facebook or Twitter.     I would really love it if you could share your running activies that you've done with MobileRun on Facebook.  Right now there is no share button or option, which is very limiting.  This is the only thing that is keeping me from leaving RunKeeper!   Thanks! ... Can you please add social sharing to https://www.fitbit.com/badges/all - and not just "share the page" - I want to be able to share individual badges.     The auto-generated email doesn't allow for badge sharing, so you have to screenshot it and then post the screenshot to Facebook. Why can't I share my weight reading ONLY with those that use my scale?   The only sharing options for my Aria is "everyone," "friends," or "no one."  Surely I can't be the first person that ONLY wants to share it with the people in my house that use the same scale?   Fix this please?   Moderator Edit: Updated label ... OK, so after my Fitbit device stated I walked over 20,000 steps in a day, I was anxiously awaiting my badge. When I did not receive it, I contacted the support team to see what was up with that and I found out some disheartening info!   When logging an activity during the time you were actually doing it, you will be overwriting any data recorded. New data will be created, and the new data does NOT go towards badges. Fitbit stated that there are different variables in activities that will alter your steps. I don’t see how. Steps are steps. They may be talking about calories burned, but that’s not the issue. When overwriting, their “formulas” not only overwrite, but give you a false number of steps taken, for better or worse due to these variables. Though, Fitbit stated that it would not create false steps.   It does.   Believing them, I started logging my activity at 3am as I did not want actual data overwritten. I wanted all my steps to go towards badges. So what do I find out?? Logging activity at 3am gave me an additional 5,000 FALSE STEPS. That needs to stop.   I purchased this device to ACCURATELY track my sleep, my steps & time put into activity and it seems you can’t log one without having other data falsified. Fitbit suggested I create a “suggestion” here and if it gets enough “likes” the developers will consider fixing this problem. So there you go. In the meantime I will be researching other products that don’t overwrite and/or create false data.   BTW, this is also a problem if you’re competing with other Fitbit users in regards to how many steps are taken over a certain period of time as clearly the data can be faked…and if there’s money involved to the winner, that’s problematic. You know what woukd be a great addition to your firbit app...     The ability to cheer everyone all at one time.  Also the ability to group your friends accordingly.  Such as family, Co-workers, challenge teams, and runners and walkers.     It would also be nice if we could message everyone at the same time as well.  Once a week or so I try to message all of my friends. I like to send them an encouraging message.  The more groups I belong to, the larger my friends list grows.     Everyday without fail everyone in my friends lists gets a cheer from me.  Every little bit helps when you are trying to meet a specific goal.     It  is quite time consuming to idividually message and or cheer each one.     Moderator Edit: Added Labels ... It's not fair that if I use FitBit's GPS tracker to count my steps that they don't count toward a badge.  I logged over 20,000 steps yesterday, but about half of them were logged using FitBit's GPS tracker.  Apparently using the GPS does NOT count the steps toward your badges. This needs to be FIXED!  I was so proud of walking >20,000 steps (I have been in physical therapy trying to work out some back and leg issues and yesterday was a big deal for me).  I was ready to get rid of the other apps I use only for GPS tracking, but until you fix this issue, I will use other apps, NOT the FitBit app, to track GPS.    Lisa   Moderator edit: added label ... The options available for wearing your FitBit with business casual clothing is extremely limited. Please partner with Apple & allow us to use the Apple Watch to track our steps for a premium subscription. I love the new MobileRun features, but can't believe total steps accumulated during a run override FitBit tracker data!  And Mobile data doesn't count toward badges.  A feature like MobileRun needs to be compatible with the rest of your system and tracking (count toward badges, etc)!   OR the feature should map the run only and leave it to the device to track steps so Mobile Data doesn't override.   Moderator Edit: Updated label ... I work at an animal hospital & have been there for almost 16 years. Time after time you see dogs come in that are overweight, we prescribe a prescription diet and they are told to increase the dogs activity. Today I had a dog come in for doggie daycare to incorporate more activity into her daily routine and I thought how great it would be to have a fitbit flex collar & chip that would track the animals steps, calories lost, weight, food & water intake, etc. I have 6 dogs of my own and it is very important to me that they get enough exercise. I think it would make people more conscientious of their dog's health as well. Not everybody walks with their dogs, sometimes a petsitter/dog walker walks them, play at doggie daycare or an owner will take them to the beach and watch the dogs run or swim. The app can be specific for dogs, the steps are calculated differently and the way they burn calories, the food logging portion can have all major dog foods/treats so the owner could track that as well. You could sell different fitbit flex collar band prints. People love there animals and want them healthy sometimes more than their own selves. The pets could reach goals too! Then they could get a printed fitbit tennis ball, Frisbee, collapsable travel food/water bowl, leash, etc for accomplishing biannual goals.   Moderator Edit: Added Labels ... View more

The main objective of this product is to to track your activites and provide a dashboard of your daily intake vis-a-vis your calori burn out. Unfortunately having only a limited number food databases defeats this purpose altogether.   The FitBit products are gaining popularity the world over, and are also triggering the emergence of other competitors. I use my FitBit Flex's silent alarm to wake up in the morning, but many mornings I am actually already up and before that alarm goes off.   ...since I'm already awake at that point - and have told my FitBit that, by taking it out of sleep mode - having the morning alarm go off in those instances is rather redundant.   It would be nice if there was an option on the silent alarm screen to specify that I only want this silent alarm to trigger if my FitBit is in sleep mode.   Seems like a simple enhacement that I - and perhaps others? - would definitely appreciate.   Moderator Edit: Updated label ...
