To whom it may concern,
My lab, the Yale Stress Center, spent a lot of money purchasing Flex 2 for a research study. We were told we would be able to download the data to csv files so that we could review the data in Excel. This was possible as of last week.
I have realized today there has been an update which now prohibits us from downloading data more than once every 24 hours. This update also makes the process of downloading data take many more steps - you have to receive several emails and then click download. Worst of all, it now does not allow you the option to download the data into a csv file to be viewed in excel. When the data is downloaded, it's all in separate JSON files, making the data impossible for us to use for our research purposes in a seamless way. We were promised that Fitbit would be a good resource for our research & this process is now extremely difficult. Please restore the feature that allows us to easily download data through settings ,data export, csv file. We need this change to be installed ASAP.
Thank you,
Olivia Roberson
It is a right fiddle to connect the band on the fitbit versa, it is a brilliant sleek connection but so hard to get back on and this should be changed to make easier.

There should be an easy to print report that one could generate and hand over to their primary care physician for their review at an appointment. Would include all relevant information (food intake, activity, weight, etc.).
Also, integration with EPIC patient records would be awesome.
Am I missing the report?

I guess this has been submitted before, but in case it hasn't, can inactivity be tracked? I don't just mean a vibration if you've been sat down for too long, but also on the dashboard a measure to show periods of inactivity, to really give you a full picture of your day.

Please enable this feature. The watch has the sensor, so why can it not be used?

I strongly recommend that Fitbit should add Monzo bank to the Fitbit Pay and Barclays to their list of supporting banks. I also think they should look into Revolut bank as it doesn't work. I applied for a virtual card with them a long time back and I wasn't able to download the card to my Fitbit even though it was listed as a supported bank. I contacted revolut support and they had said that it is still in development. Revolut is listed as supporting the bank in more than 20 countries for Fitbit pay but I highly doubt that based on my experience. So they should not list it as one of there supporting banks. They should add Monzo and Barclays and other well known banks twell-known banks will be very beneficial to those who use Fitbit devices. The two banks I have listed are very well known banks.

Can we please add “angry” or “irritable” option in the female health tracker under the emotions section? I’m a little amazed we can choose “energized” or “happy” but the most commonly occurring symptom of pms “irritability” is not there. As it is, I currently use a “code” combination of “anxious” and “stressed” which is my way of reporting irritability. Can we add anger please? Or some kind of euphemism?

I think that it would be helpful if women could have the option to share this data with their Spouse. I know that you can share you step info but I would think it would be helpful if the spouse could tell what is going on with the person they have to put up with without having to ask or be told.

The Versa needs a battery level icon on simple watch faces to save the battery, yet be able to see the battery level. I am finding that any complicated/higher tech watch face creates a battery drain, yet the simple watch faces do not have the battery icon and you have to swipe to find it. Life's a lot easier if the battery is visible quickly.

Please would you make a waterproof clip for swimming and beach activities. As users are able to link more than one device to their account it would only need to be a cheap clip-on, like Misfit's Flash. It's very frustrating that none of your more slimline trackers are beech proof. I found a similar request from 2 years ago that had a lot of votes. It seems like you're not listening Fitbit.....
I really think that this could be done as a cheap 'additional' item, almost an impulse buy, like new straps etc. The misfit Link is only $25.
Come fitbit!! You can do it!! ![]()

As a teacher, I'm always looking to phrase negative student behavior in a positive way (eg. If a student is running and they need to walk, I say "so-and-so, walk, please," not, "so-and-so, stop running.") I was a little disheartened when I received a notification from one of my challenges saying "You demoted so-and-so!" It made me feel bad for doing well, because it told me I had had a negative consequence on my friend. It was all I could focus on. Instead, I wish the notification had said something like "Congratulations! You're now in 1st place! Keep up the good work!" It's getting the same exact message across, but in a positive manner.

I use my FitBit Flex's silent alarm to wake up in the morning, but many mornings I am actually already up and before that alarm goes off.
...since I'm already awake at that point - and have told my FitBit that, by taking it out of sleep mode - having the morning alarm go off in those instances is rather redundant.
It would be nice if there was an option on the silent alarm screen to specify that I only want this silent alarm to trigger if my FitBit is in sleep mode.
Seems like a simple enhacement that I - and perhaps others? - would definitely appreciate.

Remove dependency of the time on watch with the time zone setting in our on line profile. Have the watch just use the time on the phone. It is absolutely ridiculous that I need to access my on-line profile when I change time zones!
It's common for smart watches to give you a notification when you get a text or call, but do far Fitbit only gives you Calenders apps to give you reminders. They should allow other apps like Google Keep or Samsung Notes to send you a reminder that you create.
It would be nice to be able to add more than one admin person to a group.

I want the Ace 2 t to basically only function as a watch during the school day so my son doesn't get distracted scrolling through the other data. It was be useful to allow parents to do this screen lock feature.

I think the ability to dim the display on the ACE would be helpful. It is extremely bright when a child is wearing it to bed and it lights up when they move their arm too hard. Or possibly the feature to turn off the display at certain times while still tracking the stats.
I'd like to request better cryptography/randomness generation support for the device.
Currently generating an HMAC with SHA-1 takes several seconds, and generating it for multiple tokens will cause an app to crash.
From a security perspective it would be preferable to do all calculations on a device instead of sending data between the phone and the watch (at least in my use case of generating MFA tokens).
I have had a Flex, Flex 2, Blaze, Alta, Charge, Charge HR, Charge 2 and the one thing they have in common? Battery life only lasts for 7 days max.
I understand if the HR sensor is on all the time they would decrease battery life but if there is no screen or HR sensor. The battery should last much longer.
I have a MiBand by Xiaomi. It's £7. The battery and spec is close to a Flex. But, the battery lasts for over 1 month. It uses the HR sensor while sleeping to make the sleeping data accurate and has an alarm.
Here is a screenshot taken a few mins ago. It lasted 22 days and has 51% battery life. So, it may last 30-40 days. On one charge. And it shows you this via the app. Fitbit is a premium tracker. I really love my Charge 2 but when Xiaomi can do the basics right and somehow make the battery last for so long, it makes me wonder why Fitbit devices don't last as long.
Thanks for looking!
Please release the new dashboard to android users!

I think it would be great to get the weight loss badges for manually putting in your weight also. I just went through where I lost 17 lbs and got a badge for losing 5 lbs of course I was like yay new badge till I found out it was a mistake because I lost more than that and then found out it was only for people that uses a scale.

It's not fair that if I use FitBit's GPS tracker to count my steps that they don't count toward a badge. I logged over 20,000 steps yesterday, but about half of them were logged using FitBit's GPS tracker. Apparently using the GPS does NOT count the steps toward your badges.
This needs to be FIXED! I was so proud of walking >20,000 steps (I have been in physical therapy trying to work out some back and leg issues and yesterday was a big deal for me). I was ready to get rid of the other apps I use only for GPS tracking, but until you fix this issue, I will use other apps, NOT the FitBit app, to track GPS.

I have noticed that when trying to use the forward & back buttons to move between dates, that they are sometimes difficult to press and I find myself often hitting the buttons above or below them. Here is a screenshot:
There are often links right above the right & left arrows for navigating days, and I will end up hitting them. It is a frustrating user experience. Could the buttons be made larger? Or moved below? Or possibly closer to the center of the screen?
Major financial institute in central and east europe, which just has announced support for garmin pay.
Operates in the following countries:
In general, I'm really happy with the look and feel of the FitBit dashboard - because my FitBit is usually plugged into my work's PC I tend to sit with the Dashboard open on my machine all day.
I would only make one tiny suggestion about the Dashboard: instead of having the page telling me how many minutes it's been since the last sync (which doesn't automatically update unless I refresh the page), would it not be better if it told me the date and time at which it was last synchronised?

I would like to see a process for adding new banks and credit cards to Fitbit Pay. I like many other people want to have my specific bank (Community America Credit Union) added to Fitbit Pay, but I don't see any information about how to have that happen. I contacted online chat support and I am very surprised that this process doesn't exist. They led me here and that I should request a new feature to have it added. I would like to see a specific support line, email, or some form to fill out to get our bank to be examined to be added.
I am personally going to try and reach out to my bank and express my interest in the supporting Fitbit Pay, but can't even tell them who to contact at Fitbit to get any information about it.
If this isn't possible I would like to see support for Android and Apple Pay. I would have to admit I am a little surprised Fitibit didn't just incorporate these instead of building their own version.
Thanks!
It would be great to have an activity log summary on the dashboard so I can see at first glance all the activities I've inputted that day. Would save alot of time searching through tabs and give a better overall view of what happened.
Or how about integrating it into the step chart so we can easily see how the steps line up with the activities done in specific time blocks ?

I had the FitBit Force last year, and when I used the automatic activity tracker (pressing the button before the workout) it would show up on my profile like this with my stats:
Now I have the Charge HR and when I run, I still press the button like I did before, but it doesn't show up as an activity record; it only shows up as a logged activity and I don't get the same breakdown that I would before. I would like to be able to get my detailed statistics back, like speed, pace, distance, etc. and I would like for them to show up on my profile with the graphs.
