It would be good if from a developer point of view you could choose the version number and create a GAM link accordingly. That would allow a developer to distribute to updated versions to testers prior to submitting for review.

In the movie Trolls - they wore a device that went off now and then alerting the trolls it was hug time. I think a feature that alerts me when a friends device is near mine to hug would be awesome. Even random times... Just want to spread a little more love in the world.

Don't know where I should put this, but the graphs are awful. You can work your butt off and you know you are making progress, but graphs are discouraging. It would be nice if you had something that would monitor the heart rate too. Moderator Edit: Updated label

There's this one challenge feature I wish Fitbit had... It'd be great if we could create our own milage (or step) goals to get to any location based on distance. For instance, I want to go to Dubai, and it'd be great if I could just select Dubai on a map and make the distance to that place my goal. It would be a self reward system. Like when I finally finish all the miles or steps to Dubai, I can go on my trip! Thanks for listening! -Larrel

I used Charge 2 and just bought Versa 2, and I'm very disappointed because when Charge 2 nofitied me to move every hour, the message was so cute and motivational ("It's step o'clock", "Take me for a walk" etc.), so I had a feeling that my fitbit is my partner. But now Versa 2 only shows me how many steps is missing to win that hour. I know is not so important feature, but little things can make a big difference. 🙂 Moderator edit: Subject for clarity

As of right now we cannot do any kind of integration with 3rd party apps like IFTTT with a child fitbit account. While I understand that we don't want to have a record of child personal identifiable information for legal reasons could we allow for something like access to if one of the child accounts (which could be a number for all I care) hits their step goal? My Ultimate thought process behind this is to use IFTTT with Choremonster and give extra points which could be redeemed for screen time. Also it would be cool to change the lights in my son's bedroom when he hits that goal. I have a very connected house so I would love to make the concept of hitting his goal more fun. I propose a simple slider called the exercise calorie adjustment. Default would be 0%. It should have the ability to slide from -100% to +100%. This adjustment would then apply to ALL exercise calories applied to the user's diet by fitbit. I have MFP so I will use that as an example. Lets say fitbit says I get 360 calories from my morning walk. And I have my adjustment slider set to -20%. Instead of reporting 360 calories to MFP, Fitbit will report 300 because of the -20% adjustment. This empowers the user to adjust to our personal needs. In my personal example, I think fitbit rates my exercise as too high. I have seen other posts were users think the calories are too low. Why not do this so everyone can be happy? Most of my non-running workouts don't involve steps. For instance I do a kickboxing/boxing workout pretty regularly and it counts steps based on my hand motions. If I work the speedbag for a few minutes, it adds up to a few hundred steps. As a result, I have to remove my watch when doing this workout and I don't get my heart rate recorded during this time. Ideally, this would be a setup option for all of the workouts, except maybe the workouts like Run and Hike or anything that has the option to use the GPS. I would like to be able to go into the setup for a workout on the watch, and turn off step counting. Moderator edit: Clarified subject and labels

I would like to make a suggestion (if it doesn't already exist)?? On "The challenges" Fitbit offer, could you all design a challenge for Spouses? Where Husbands & Wives could unite steps and compete against other Husbands & Wives. I believe it will create a Stronger Bond in The Marriages.... My wife & I have created a Stronger Bond & Better Relationship through "stepping" together... Please consider this suggestion and create a challenge or an App... Sincerely, J. When the Versa is not worn, have the ability to display some text on the watch, entered via the smartphone app, such as "If found, please contact Bob at 01234 6789" Could be on the clock face, instead of the clock face, or another swipe screen after all apps

It's a bit odd that runs can be exported as a TCX file but an Interval Workout, which is basically the same but at different paces, cannot. This means there appears to be no way of adding that Interval Workout to Strava - which of course means it never happened. Moderator Edit: Clarified subject and updated label

When we view weight online, we get weight like 12 St 4.4 Lb. However, it is not the same display on Aria. Aria should display the same weight that is displayed online.

The problem is simple: there are non-step count exercises that could all be swept up in a generic exercise shortcut. The activity could then be started/stopped on your device. It should have no step count and count no change in elevation. Just the basics: time and heart rate info. That way a lot of different exercises that so far Fitbit is ignoring could use the same feature. I want it for horseback riding, but I also saw a post with someone who was frustrated that spinning uses an accelerometer. This problem extends to many other exercises. This would create a fix for a massive segment of the Fitbit community. Why would the company not just do it??? (Apparently the people working on the AppleWatch have figured this out).

It's time the Ionic had an app that linked it to the Keiser M3i spin bike to allow the Keiser app access to heart data. Currently I need to use my Polar chest band to monitor my heart rate, even though I have a watch capable of monitoring heart rate. Ideally I would like to see access to similar data that is available if you use their app on a phone. Heart rate and effort level/FTP , time in work zones and cadence would be nice. I was building a CI/CD for updating my app automatically when a commit was done on my master branch. Unfortunately, there was no such functionality on the SDK. Is it possible to add this? This way, I don't have to publish it manually on the GAM every time. Thanks!

I purchased the FitBit Versa Special Edition and was disappointed when I had an extreme difficulty with the initial set up of my FitBit smartwatch, and once set up, had difficulty changing my settings (in particular, changing the clock face) because come to find out, even though I have a recent model of one of the most popular smartphones, it is not a supported FitBit device. Really? I have the Samsung Note 8. This, and any recent Samsung or iPhone should be supported. Samsung is the most popular Android phone. Please redesign all models of FitBit to be compatible with any model of Samsung.

There should be the option for an ascending alarm that starts with a short/weak vibration and ramps up to the current strong vibration alarm over 20 seconds or so. This way the FitBit can gently wake me without also waking my wife, the current alarm is just to strong and sudden. Moderator Edit: Updated label

How can I send a group notice of items such as: upcoming groupons or class work out times, or cancellations due to weather? Can they get a "notice" alarm on their device, so they know to look at their dashboard to see the message or notice? Just posting in the group home page isn't helpful if people have to be on their computer to see group postings. I've worn a Fitbit for several years now and absolutely love it! With each new tracker that comes out, It's exciting to see the new features. I would love to see a device come out that has cell phone capability. While out on a walk, run or hike it sure would be convenient. Not to mention no hassle of carrying my cell phone.
