All of the displays on the watch should be able to be customized, either switch positions or removed from the device. The scroll down and swipe left categories should be able to be reorganized to individual preferences. I love having the weather app on my charge 3.  Since I got the watch, I am checking the app on my phone obsessively probably 20 times a day. Each time I swipe down from the top of the screen to sync my device, but unless I have the weather app on my charge 3 open when I do the sync, no weather data transfers. This makes the app useless since I need to take out my phone in order to sync my watch at that moment. Once I have my phone out of my pocket, I might as well just check the weather there.    Please update the software to have weather data pulled each time your phone is synced or have the option of automatically having weather data pushed from your phone every x minutes/hours.  ... I had an Apple Watch but did not like the way it felt on my wrist and I hated having to charge it basically every day. My Charge 3 is just what I need. One suggestion though would be to have an icon on the home screen when you have a notification that has not been looked at. I like being able to get my notifications (mostly text messages) on the Charge 3, but if you don’t feel the vibration and you don’t manually check the Charge, the notification goes away from the screen. It would be nice to have some sort of icon that remains on the home screen until the notification has been checked. I would like to have the Charge 3 automatically return to the Home screen from any other screen WHEN ALL of these conditions are TRUE:      ...the screen has been dark for X minutes AND      ...the timer and stopwatch are not running AND      ...an exercise session is not being recorded   Often, when I check weather, or current stats, or an incoming text message, I neglect to press the side button (multiple times required) to get back to the Home screen.  Some time later, I want to see the Home screen but the screen is still sitting where I had left it.  I think if all the above conditions were true, I would no longer want to see that old screen and would expect the Home screen to be there.  The criteria listed above are for cases in which I would want and expect the screen to remain where it was, no matter how long I had left it. ... I am honestly puzzled that with all the advanced technology in Charge 3 something so simple as auto pause does not exist.... You have to manually stop time tracking for running or author biking, even though there are plenty of sensors plus GPS connection that can detect stop automatically. Absence of auto pause turns stats for these exercises into a mess... And when you're biking or running in the city with many traffic lights  - it's just have feature simply for safety reasons (just try to play with the tracker when you're on the road on  a bike on a sunny day... you'll see what I mean). From various posts, it seems that the Charge 3 clock/watch faces are evolving.   Could Fitbit please provide a page that is updated as new faces are added/updated (with pictures of all the available faces)?   Like others, I am waiting until more faces become available, before upgrading from my Charge 2. When I pre-ordered the Charge 3 it was only because I had cracked the screen on my Charge 2. $150 later, I expected all the same great features of the Charge 2 in a water resistant package. This tracker is truly a step backwards for Fitbit. I've been a loyal customer for years and years, owning multiple devices and always looking forward to new releases. Never have I been so disappointed by a Fitbit product.   When I first got this as a new release in October 2018, I assumed Fitbit was still working out the kinks and we'd receive software updates to restore all the functionality of the previous model. It's been 6 months and your customers have been patient. I continue to check the forums here for updates and you continue to provide the same canned responses. New products have been released, yet this one (an "advanced tracker") is still an inferior product to the previous model. I don't use many of the tracking options provided; we used to be able to remove those from our screen to streamline the display for a superior user experience. Now, we are stuck with every single option on the screen that we cannot remove or reorder. I use an Aria to track my weight. It's a wonderful product and I love the ability to see my stats in the app. I do not, however, need to see my weight on my watch. I'm not sure who would need to access that or their female health tracking on their watch. The fact that you are not allowing an option to customize the user experience is mind boggling.    I've gone back to wearing my badly cracked Charge 2 and I'm considering buying a used one. My new Charge 3 is sitting in a drawer and I am waiting to see if I just need to sell it or if Fitbit will actually respond to its loyal customers and let us know if we will get all the old and wonderful functionality back. I looked at my old Fitbit Alta and Charge 2 recently. Both were built from stainless steel—the material and build quality were both exceptional. Comparing these to my Fitbit Charge 4, the case is plastic, the fit of the straps on the case have a gap that accumulates dirt (which didn’t happen on either the Charge 2 or Charge 3). ... View more

I was told by Fitbit that they no longer offer floor tracking in any tracker model they sell and the only way to get that added back into their products is to post to the community and have enough people ask for it. I wanted to upgrade to the Charge 3 so that I could have an updated tracker that looked less like a standard smartwatch. We should be able to decline incoming calls on the new Charge 3.  Headsets can do this via Bluetooth, I’d think the watch is capable.   It would be very useful to decline calls from the watch without having to take our phone out.    Moderator Edit: Added Labels ... View more

I got my first Fitbit some 18 months ago, a Charge 2. I fell in love with it and its fun chatter and humorous greetings really turned my motivation on. For me this was one very important key for me embracing the idea of wearing a tracking device like this. It persuaded me with its fun and humour. A simple detail like that there are several different ways in which it "celebrates" when you have reached your daily main goal: fireworks, popping circles, glittering patterns and the best one of them all: the space rocket. Getting the space rocket really made my day! And those fun and cheerful greetings: "Up and at'em!" "Ready to roll!" "Left foot, right foot!"   I loved the Charge 2, but it had a lot of issues with screen spontaneously cracking in the heat. After my third watch in 12 months had a huge crack, I decided I would try a different model and I went to the Versa. Big disappointment!! The screen was nice, it worked ok (had some syncing issues and some false/inaccurate pulse readings) - but what happened to my cheerful friend? No greetings and only two different celebrations. I found it boring and a let down. I kept walking and achieving my goals but the spark is missing. Where is the fun?   So now I have gotten a Charge 3, since I was hoping it would be more like the Charge 2. The smiley face when I plugged it in the charger made me hopeful. After one week it seems to be working well and somewhat better and more accurate than the Versa. But - also here - where is the chatter? The funny comments? The cheering?   Since both the chatter and the greetings are optional on the Charge 2, why can't this feature also be incorporated into the Charge 3? It would make the world of a difference to me. I really don't have a sad or miserable life at all, and I will be able to keep up my motivation for exercising, but what simply made my day every day on the Charge 2 seems to have disappeared totally from the Charge 3 (and the Versa). I do not care about getting the weather forecast or listening to music through the watch and I really don't want any cell phone notifications from it either. But I need the fun.
