It would be awesome if the charge 3 would support sdk/watch face api to let the community create custom watch faces (and apps). Hey guys. As I’m sure all Charge 3 owners are aware we have all been completely left behind in terms of features for the charge 3. I’d like to compile a few of these suggestions into a single suggestion as Fitbit are completely ignoring the suggestions from other users.  1) The charge 3 needs the screen timeout feature to be incorporated. Currently the screen stays on for three seconds which is absolutely useless for people in the medical field, runners and all activity related people alike. It is completely insane that the watch includes a stopwatch that we can’t monitor continuously. I am sure that many users would greatly appreciate this feature. This must be possible as it has been made available on other watches.   2) The Fitbit charge 3 simply needs more watch faces. The Versa, ionic etc all have a multitude of watch faces available from Fitbit and third party services. We simply do not have enough and the watch faces that are available to us are all very similar and fairly lacklustre for want of a better word!   3) The charge 3 needs more apps, only the apps that released with the watch are available to us even though the watch launched with an App Store.     I hope a lot of people can see this suggestion and get behind this initiative!!   Moderator edit: Updated subject for clarity. ... It would really be great if the charge 4 had the option to log my water from the tracker. I know it exists on the versa and other smart watches but it would be a really awesome and helpful feature on the charge 4 tracker as well just like you can track exercise directly from the tracker. Similarly, hydration reminders like reminders to move would be incredibly helpful. The two together would drastically increase reaching hydration goals.  ... View more

The charge 2 watch face showed four pieces of information on the main face: Time, Steps, Heart Rate, and Date.  I could careless how it looked, but I'd love to have a face that shows these four pieces of information on one face.  I expected the charge 3 to do what the charge 2 did and improve upon it, not take away features.   Moderator Edit: Title for Clarity ... It's a convenient feature having the Charge 3 vibrate when there's a notification.  However, could there be a Gentle setting for the Vibrations?  I have mine set to Normal and it feels like an electrical shock everytime I get a notification. Or turn off option. ... View more

I'd love to be able to change the clock face on Charge 4 when I run.  Right now, the pace is the largest number and I don't care about that.  I'm 62 and the fact that I'm still running is great!  I run by time and I'd love to make that the largest number on the clock face.  Then maybe add my heart rate.  Just a thought.   Moderator edit: Subject for clarity ... SOLVED! My Fitbit Charge 3 shows a disco ball every time I reach my daily goal (10.000 steps). My charge 2 had different celebration symbols, i.e fireworks and a star. It was so exciting to see what symbol came that day. This excitement is gone, there is only the disco ball in charge 3. Boring!  ... View more

Currently, if you receive a notification, the device vibrates but the screen does not turn on. Therefore, you have to flick your wrist or tap on the display to see what was received. Please add new (and better designed) Charge 3 watch faces, as the current selections are mostly hard to read and very disappointing compared to my Charge2. At the very minimum, please add ALL the Charge2 faces, which are far better than the current ones. Think big!
