I'm new to Fitbit but have used various other fitness apps over the years. I've just done my first treadmill run with my new charge 2 and the total distance was quite a way off what the treadmill said and what I believe I ran . I dont have any fitbit friends aside my sister but i want to do challenges with people, it would be nice if i could join challenges with random people. If i could start a challenge with an autofill option that would allow other fitbit users to join, likewise i could join theirs if they select a community challenge for instance.

I would like the sleep reminders to not be a phone notification, but instead, a short buzz on the fit bit. This way I don't have to wake up fully to check my phone just in case it was an important text message. Nothing makes me and my partner more alert then my phone making unnecessary noices at night. Just one short vibration is all I need to know it is time for bed.

PLEASE allow users to sort their food lists by alphabetical order, and to easily delete foods from their "frequent" and "recent" food lists. It seems that there have been requests for this (in the forums at least) going back 3 years. It's absolutely ridiculous that simple features like these have been overlooked in the first place. Everyone have different needs or interests on what he want to see when he raise his wristband; something that works for me may not be appreciated from everyone else. So I thought: why can't we create our own watch faces? It world be very useful to have an interface where we can decide what we can see ( setting font and size ) and in which order. With the upgrade the app will no longer work unless Background Location Permission is allowed all the time, whether the app is in use or not. What possible justification do you have for that? My Fitbit HR was not holding charge so received a replacement for free after contacting customer support. I am disappointed that I was only advised to recycle the old unit with local e-waste facility. I don't mind spending my own time tracking down a place because I care. But Amazon offers free e-recycling program for their old products, not just defective units. Given how many Fitbit I've seen on people's wrists I'll think twice before purchasing a Fitbit in the future (received my current one as a gift). Moderator Edit: Clarified subject and updated label

I would love to be able to have the option of tracking the number of fruit and/or vegetable servings each day on my iOS app, in a way similar to the water intake. I log my meals on MFP, but I am more likely to work on increasing my intake to the recommended 5-9 servings a day if I have a simple place to review that metric as opposed to reviewing my full food log. Right now I believe Fitbit uses your height, age, and weight to calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) which is the calories you burn if you did absolutely nothing all day just by living and breathing and then adds calories burned due to steps/activity/heart rate to that. Problem is calculating BMR with just height/weight/age BMR is a very poor way of calculating it. Of course for people who don't have body fat measurements, it's easy. But many of us including myself either manually enter in our calculated Body Fat, or they use the Fitbit Aria Scale which automatically calculates body fat and syncs to the dashboard. I would like to see Body Fat implemented in the calorie burn estimations because I really feel this will help accurately measure my calorie burn (if for example I weight 250 lbs and have 15% body fat I will be burning way more calories per day by just living than someone weighing 250 lbs and having 30% body fat). This can be simply done using a commonly used BMR equation that incorporates body fat. Obviously if someone hasn't enetered in their Body Fat measurements than it would default to the age/height/weight but please gives those of us with more detailed body info more accurate calorie burn! It appears that the food log input format changed today (2/13/18). Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me? The new format is much more cumbersome in my opinion. I prefer the original format. Any input/comments/recommendations welcome! Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity

I have seen it suggested that Fitbit should be able to import data from other Period Tracking apps so that they can get rid of other apps completely. But I would like to keep my other app (I use Flo) and just have the data imported to Fitbit. I love the app that I already have but I want all of my data to be together too. I am a new user to Fitbit Alta. Some of my exercises are not recorded correctly. This is expecially true regarding type of exercise. Sometimes I bike outdoors, but it shows up as Run or Walk. I would like to be able to log into Fitbit on my computer and make edits to the exercise to be closer to being corect in type, time or distance. To me this is a seriously annoying limitation to the Fitbit system. Moderator edit: Labels

I would like a do not disturb mode on Ionic or have it sync with do not disturb on my android phone, but during that do not disturb time I would like it so that the Ionic screen doesn't come on unless I press the side button. When I looked at buying a smartwatch I looked for 2 thing; - A microphone -A way for me to create my own apps Both of the features are on the Versa 2 however they do not work in conjunction. I really need a smartwatch that would be able to record audio. This should be easy since the Fitbit versa 2 already has a microphone built in, and it would only require some software editing. I have read multiple pages in the community blogs that have been asking if any of the Fitbit series has the audio or video recording feature. I understand that video does not make sense because of storage, and the size and quality of the camera that would need to be incorporated. I would love if the Versa 2 would be able to use the features it already has. Also I would love it if the voice recording feature would be available in the sdk if that is not too much to ask. Maybe in the future since the Versa 2 has Alexa built in we can start controlling Amazon music. Alot of people pay for the HD service on Amazon music and it would be really nice to use Alexa to control it. Alexa is part of Amazon so why not have the App available? Please add new (and better designed) Charge 3 watch faces, as the current selections are mostly hard to read and very disappointing compared to my Charge2. At the very minimum, please add ALL the Charge2 faces, which are far better than the current ones. Think big! Use bold sans serif fonts with clear & legible designs! Thank you. Currently, in the calendar view, if your period is "late", there's a dialog asking if this period has started yet, with three choices: Yes, Not Yet, and Edit. If you select "Not Yet", nothing happens. The predicted period is still in there until you log a real one, and the tile assumes that it's correct. [Commonly, this can be a number of days or even weeks.] If you select "Edit", you can't log a period in the future or postpone the prediction (and it makes a joke about having a proactive attitude). For now, until the "Not Yet" button is connected to a function on the back end, it should be removed. This is relevant because for most menstruators, cycle length is not constant, and "lateness" is normal. Moderator Edit: Clarified subject

Many of my friends do not use fitbit since its do not support wechat, especially wechat sport. I think this is not very difficult for some programming team to develop this function. It would be awesome if fitbit made a tracker for kids. Something like the Garmin Vivofit JR. Maybe make it fun like the Leapfrog Leapband. The fitbit app could be changed to have a family setting so people can set up sub-profiles for their children. As of the latest firmware available (as of 14 October 2022) when notifications are received on the Versa 4 they do not wake the screen, which is contrary to how the Versa 2 works. Having an option for the user to decide how you want to see notifications, either by a wrist movement or automatically, would be user friendly.
