While the iPhone app can be downloaded on the iPad, I would like to see an iPad app built out as well.
iPhone Only apps are clunky on the iPad, and can only be viewed in portrait. I only like using my iPad in landscape unless I am reading, and the standard iPad cases/covers are built for landscape use when in standing mode.
I would imaging the iPad app to be much more in-depth and versatile than the iPhone app, since the setting allows for more space and usability. Sure, I can log into the website from my iPad to get to my dashboard, but I love my more portable devices and having a nice looking app that integrates well and is convenient to access with just one-click.

I would like to suggest the addition of a Tile for the Dashboard. Battery Level.

We need the ability to delete a food plan, or at least be able to disable it once its setup. In general the app lacks the ability to delete all items (steps, messages, water, sleep etc)

I love the device and like to play and try the different features but now that I've activated some of them I want to disable/delete them until I'm ready to use them.

Please release a full app for Surface RT, including the ability to sync.

It would be great if Fitbit either created a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that would sync with the dashboard or if they would team up with another company (Omron, diabetic community app) to have their product sync with the dashboard instead of having to manually enter it.

I just joined the large group that fitbit recommended for the new year and it is just out of control how fast the emails are piling up. I went away from my computer for 5 minutes and 60 messages piled up! I changed my settings to daily digest, but I am still getting many posts per minute. Clearly this system is not designed for so many thousands of people to be in one group so I hope that the default is something more reasonable so when my parents join they won't be overwhelmed.

Hi.
I just wanted to share two M7-related feature requests.
While it is great that you just added M7 support for those that don't have an actual fitbit device, it would be even better if it could be used simultaneously with the real fitbit device.
scenario 1: I went on vacation, forgot to charge the fitbit, and did a lot of hiking. When I returned, all of that data was lost. Had I been able to use the m7 data from my iPhone (which I had with me the whole time) there would not be such a big gap.
scenario 2: two friends of mine with FitBit Forces have persistent problems with the registration of movements in the car while driving to work. This can show up as much as 3000 steps over the course of a 20-minute ride. When they compare the step count against that recorded by the iPhone, the iPhone seems to successfully ignore these motions. It would seem to be possible to combine the data from both the fitbit and the M7 to provide even more accurate results than either could alone.
Thanks.

Many countries favour using Kilojoules instead of calouries for enrgy input and output. Please add the option to choose in all relevent dashboard areas.

The only way I'm seeing to 'find friends' is by email address. It would be helpful if I could search for friends that are: within a certain miles (so we could actually meet and get steps together), age, sex, how many pounds they want to lose, etc.
I was trying to find someone that I know on here and even though we were both members of the fitbit community, the ONLY way was to send her an invite via email. It shouldn't have to be that difficult when we're both already members.

Adding a GPS receiver maybe asking too much, but what about working with the GPS in a cell phone? I can see several advantages of linking to the cell phones GPS.
1. Distance and stride length can be determined accurately and automatically. Setting your stride length is trail and error procedure.
2. Automatic driving mode when speeds exceed 30mph.
3. The cell phone app could alert you if you drop the fitbit while excercising, or at least let you know where and when it last 'saw it'.
4. Fun activities like sharing your location with other fitbit users during excercise such as a fun run.

Being able to track your weight each day is nice. However, there can be huge (3-7lbs) fluctuations based on water weight, diet, and other changes that don't give an accurate picture of where your body is.
It would be really useful to have the option of a "weighted" average of your weight factoring in 3-, 5-, or 10-days into the calculation. A 10-day average weight gives you a much better picture of whether you're trending up or down in terms of weight gain/loss than just seeing how much you weight at the time you weigh-in, over 10 days your water weight fluctuations will be smoothed out. This would also look really smooth as a trend-line graph (more useful than the one currently incorporated into the dashboard).
I'm a chef and having anything around my wrist is annoying and cumbersome to performing my duties. I am finding that I have to remove it from my wrist more often than I like to admit. I like the idea of this device but there are certain job titles that having something around the wrist is almost impossible to wear. So if you could create a FitBit necklace I think that would help in the value of offering customers different ways of wearing this device!

Rather than attempting to calculate the users stride length via height etc, or have them manually work out stride length why not have the app use the GPS to work out distance and the step count from fitbit to accurately calculate stride length?

Hi, enjoying my Flex/iOS app so far - do you have plans to develop a UK foods database?
Thanks!

I would like it if the miles you gain through other activities (such as biking) would add to your overall miles. It feels like other activities do not "count" when they don't count except as calories burned. They should count in every way possible to encourage people to be as active as possible.
I love my fitbit flex but I would love to see and upgrade to include heart rate monitoring. I currently use a separate heart rate watch when working out to get a better accuracy for calories burned because when I do the insanity workout for 45 minutes the flex only says 6 minutes active but I know I am working very hard for the entire 45 minutes. Will this ever be an option?

When will Fitbit support IFTTT integration? I was thinking of upgrading my Fitbit One to a Fitbit Force, but without IFTTT integration the Jawbone UP, which supports IFTTT and is the same price as the Force, is looking like a better option.

I know the community is brand new, and we do have moderators here, but they don't seem very active in the help forums. It would be nice to have at least one "official" person from fitbit answering technical support and other questions, like how to get the Aria working, tips for wearing the Force properly, and other questions that only Fitbit themselves could answer, such as https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Force/Firmware-update/m-p/10549 or https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Any-plan-to-support-old-Android-device-like-my-LG-G-Pro/... or https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Force/anyone-else-want-a-pink-or-green-force/m-p/7975

I'd really like to see a barcode scanner for food entry, like Loseit and MyFitnessPal offer.

It would be nice to be able to add more than one admin person to a group.

Don't know where I should put this, but the graphs are awful. You can work your butt off and you know you are making progress, but graphs are discouraging. It would be nice if you had something that would monitor the heart rate too.

In today's days, where everything is compact and sleek (and competitors already used it), the charger cable should also support syncing the device at the same time (here: FitBit One).

I bought a fitbit flex in US, but I live in Brazil.
why is not possible to download fitbit app for iphone here in Brazil?

Formally adding it to the product features database. It's something I personally would like to see, and I know many other users would as well.

I think a welcomed addition to the friends profile across all apps would be the ability to see a friend's daily step count. This would be useful when "chasing" a friend down. ![]()
Other user data such as, distance, active minutes, pictures and other information that person has set to share with friends would be nice as well.
Idealy the user would be able to slide through previous days like you can on your personal dashboard view

Not everybody wants to lose weight. Some want to gain weight and build muscle.

I just got my Fitbit flex and I think it's fantastic. If it monitors your sleep though it will have a good idea of when you're in deep (REM) sleep and when you're in lighter sleep. You cycle between these two during the night on a pretty reliable pattern, and they're easy to tell apart as you don't move around while you're in REM sleep. At least not as I understand things.
Could an update for the Fitbit modify the alarm feature please to wake you up as close as possible to your chosen time, but NOT during REM sleep?
This will allow you to wake more naturally, feeling refreshed, rather than how unpleasant it is when your alarm goes off in REM sleep.
Thanks, please all vote for this

PLEASE!!! We have been asking since day one that we can sync our devices through our linux systems. I can't even get my son's flex to follow our jury rigged path that synces my ultra. I'm very worried what will happen when my ultra breaks and I have to get a One...![]()

I have had my Fitbit One for a couple of weeks and love it. It links to all the other Apps I need it to and I have been showing it to everyone. I have had at least 20 of my freinds order one and most if them are very competitive.
I would like to see more data available about friends, if they choose to share it as well as competitions and challenges with them.
