For a while, my mobile app dashboard looked a lot like my browser dashboard. Check it out:
I LOVED the tiles for the time I had them and how it showed your progress. It really made the experience more motivating and I think tracked a lot more/felt more motivated with that user experience. Please roll it out soon becuase I don't have these tiles anymore!!

In my view, a better measure of my keeping excersised is not how many footsteps I do in a day, but how much time I spend at different levels of activity.
The British Govt suggests either 75 minutes of cardio, or 150 minutes of low intensity excercise per week as a target. A recent paper suggested that the maximum Nos of minutes at high intensity activity per week should be around 30 to 40 minutes per week. Surveys of indigenous communities - which have very low levels of heart disease, suggest that typically they are active around 75 minutes per day. And above 60 it does drop off, but only by some 10 minutes per day. Which is far, far less than the typical drop off in physical activity in Western Societys’
I would like my Fitbit, currently a Charge 2, to be able to consolidate my heart beat data, on a weekly basis into three categories. 1. High intensity I.e over 90% of my calcuted maximum heart rate for my age, (and aim to do about 30 minutes per week)’. 2. My aggregate number of minutes in Cardio (and maybe aim for some 70 minutes per week) and, 3. Aim for over 150 minutes per week at fat burn.
Technical I am sure that this would not be possible. My Fitbit gathers the basic data already.
The Question is are there others in the Fitbit community who have a similar need/ demand?

It is great that Fitbit added support for multiple trackers in a single account (albeit different types.) I would like to see the ability to have multiple trackers linked to one account and the ability to 1) select which is active at any point in time--or conversely just the ability to put a tracker in sleep or 'off' mode and 2) the ability to sync the one that was 'off' so pick up new activity being tracked by the other device.
My scenario is that I have a FitBit One, a Charge2 and a Flex2. My primary device is the One. I bought the Flex2 just to use for workouts in water. I like the Charge2 but primarily use it for auto sleep tracking. I don't find that the devices are all that in sync for the steps they record. I would like to be using the One and then sync the Flex2 and make it the primary device and then do my water workout, sync back to the account and resume using the One and sleep the Flex2. (Similar for the Charge2 when I wish to use it as well.)
Please consider supporting. Adding a device to the account has become painful as with the Flex2 and Charge2 there are more than 10 "OK"s. If all are left active I find myself having very large numbers of steps "erased".

When you go to the main web site www.fitbit.com to login, the process is not smooth. First you click on User Icon, then you enter in your email and password, it then brings you right back to the main page. The main page is formatted for non-users. I believe that after you login, it should take you to a page that has links just for users. Same thing for log out, needs to be user friendly.

I had the FitBit Force last year, and when I used the automatic activity tracker (pressing the button before the workout) it would show up on my profile like this with my stats:
Now I have the Charge HR and when I run, I still press the button like I did before, but it doesn't show up as an activity record; it only shows up as a logged activity and I don't get the same breakdown that I would before. I would like to be able to get my detailed statistics back, like speed, pace, distance, etc. and I would like for them to show up on my profile with the graphs.

I would really like the dashboard to allow me to use all of the space on my monitor to display tiles, instead of forcing an artificial limit of 4 units wide.
So please make the dashboard support as many tile units wide as will fit in the browser window.

In general, I'm really happy with the look and feel of the FitBit dashboard - because my FitBit is usually plugged into my work's PC I tend to sit with the Dashboard open on my machine all day.
I would only make one tiny suggestion about the Dashboard: instead of having the page telling me how many minutes it's been since the last sync (which doesn't automatically update unless I refresh the page), would it not be better if it told me the date and time at which it was last synchronised?

It would be great to have an activity log summary on the dashboard so I can see at first glance all the activities I've inputted that day. Would save alot of time searching through tabs and give a better overall view of what happened.
Or how about integrating it into the step chart so we can easily see how the steps line up with the activities done in specific time blocks ?

Steps aren't everything (I'm a cyclist...).
If the idea of fitbit is to increase people's activity, could the friend's leaderboard be based on active minutes rather than steps?

I'd like the ability to overlay different data sets on top of each other for comparison and correlation.. things like resting heart rate Vs Weight over time, or avg night's sleep Vs resting heart rate over time, or altitude Vs Speed Vs heart rate for a ride, etc.
this would help with long term trending of data, but also specific training scenarios and sessions.

Since the number of step is a information collect by the watch, the report Jogging exercice should give the cadence by lap.

Consider allowing the customer the view they wish to use to input food, I always updated this on my PC because I hate the method the app uses vs PC unless I was on the road.
The change was made without asking your users and that's just not right.
Thank you for your time,

Dear Fitbit,
I found a grammatical error that I thought you'd appreciate knowing about.
On the website, under log, and food plan:
Change your Daily Calorie Estimate Setting
Personalized
Sedentary
Uses your past activity history to estimate your calorie burn for the day and increases or decreases if you're more or less active then usual.
Should read "than"
Have a good day!

It would be nice if when I scroll over "Log" it would drop down to the different options (Food, Activity, Weight, etc), like it does with the "Community" tab, instead of having to click "Log" then having to click to the "Activity" section, etc.

Sometimes I like to compare things. For example, I would love to check my first days with having the watch to my latest scores, and... I have to click. Having a calendar would have been so much easier than clicking 100+ times. It would be cool to have the days marked when the watch was used (I, for example, don't take fitbit with me when traveling abroad without access to civilization with power supplies). I would really love it! It's so simple 🙂

I would love to have an option to set the leaderboard based on distance. When it is step based my shorter friends have an unfair advantage over me as they walk more steps per mile.

For static (-vs- e.g., AJAX) webpages, showing a time in relative terms (e.g. "3 minutes ago") is misleading if the page hasn't just been refreshed. Please consider replacing that item with the actual date/time string.

I would really like to be able to reset the calories to zero. Upon waking up mine reads over 400 calories used. I do not wear my Alta to sleep in, so when I put it on, the calories should say zero. I would love to have a way to set it to zero. Otherwise I just have to ignore the calories burned setting, which is too bad, because it could be useful!

It would be great to add option to define stride lenghts at different speeds. For example I did calculations based on a treadmill and the results are:
5 km/h ......... 70 cm
8,5 km/h ....... 84 cm
9,2 km/h ....... 91 cm
10 km/h ........ 98 cm
12 km/h ........ 117 cm
so it is hard to define "running stride length" as it varies significantly with speed.

I wish there was an option to limit the number of low battery emails to one. Currently, my FitBit Flex emails me EVERY 20 MINUTES. If the battery gets low when I'm sleeping or otherwise not checking my email, I end up with 20 or 30 emails in my inbox. It's very annoying. Currently, there is only an option to get these emails or turn them off completely. I just want ONE simple email for a low battery, not 20!

Hello,
it would be really nice if i could adjust my calories burnt during my idle times. I'm not working out or anything else, i also have a desk job. My FitBit Blaze shows me around 2400 calories burned during my normal day, but i'm a fast metabolizer, it's a very rare "disease". And on a normal day i burn about 3500 calories. So it would be nice to adjust the tracker to that.
Thx in advance
