It would be really nice if I could add foods to the UPC scanner. I tried to scan my lunch today, and it isn't in your database. In fact, it wasn't in there by text either. But if I could add the UPC when I add custom food, it would make it a lot easier to find again!    It's up to you if you'd like to update that to the general database or just leave it on my phone/account, but being able to add the barcode to make it quick to find next time would be useful.    Moderator Edit: Added Labels ... I often put my Flex into activity mode when I begin a workout. I have to log on to my computer to be able to name the activity record. I've tried using Safari on the iphone/ipad and I am unable to edit there, it has to be on a computer. I would like to be able to name my activity from the app and SEE the activity on the app. Currently, any activity record with a custom name does not show up on the app.   Moderator Edit: Added Labels/Title for Clarity ... I would love to have a device that would be able to switch between a clip and a wristband.   I want the convience of the wristband, but let's be honest, it doesn't really jive with a blacktie outfit. When I'm dressed up, I'd love to be able to wear a clip instead, but I don't want to have to buy 2 devices and try to figure out how to sync them both (if you even can).    I also would love to see some more femine wristbands, a little dresser. As of today "Anytime" was removed as a food log time designation. It appears I wasn't alone using it to record my evening snack items. Its removal means that my food log for dinner is now inaccurate. 5 time desginations aren't enough for a diabetic (3 meals, 3 snacks) and for most people watching their nutrition, evening snacking is a dangerous habit.   Moderator edit: Added Labels ... In a future firmware update would it be possible to have the Aria scale NOT set to a single set of units (pounds, kilograms, or stone) but instead have it measure the weight and body fat, recognize the user, and only THEN display in the preferred units as set by each user?  My wife is European and I'm North American, so one or the other of us is always having to convert depending on who last went in and changed the settings.  Of course there could / would have to be a default set of units for displaying the "guest" weight of someone unrecognized, but I'd be fine with the screen being blank an extra few seconds before my info popped up if I was going to get info that actually made sense to me, and vice versa for my wife.   Moderator Edit: Updated label ... Please add a scanner to food tracker! I spend to much time looking up or adding foods! The lose it program has one and it's great! Quick and easy. In general, I'm really happy with the look and feel of the FitBit dashboard - because my FitBit is usually plugged into my work's PC I tend to sit with the Dashboard open on my machine all day.   I would only make one tiny suggestion about the Dashboard: instead of having the page telling me how many minutes it's been since the last sync (which doesn't automatically update unless I refresh the page), would it not be better if it told me the date and time at which it was last synchronised?   Moderator Edit: Labels  ... Android graphs are missing yellow and green bars. Currently everything is in orange, except active minutes.  I find the colours are good for monitoring the rate or steps/time. The numbers on the left keep changing every day so they are difficult to compare without the colours.  ... View more

In my opinion, the food database is absolutely pathetic! I hate having to log in a custom food every single time I eat something different than I can find. Is there a way for us as users, to update the database for everyone, rather than just for our own use? I feel like the database would expand so much faster if we could all share and then notify Fitbit for a fix if we find an error in someone elses' logged food. I end up having to refer to MyFitnessPal for the nutritional information if I don't have the box/packaging with me. Even on MFP you can decide if you want to log it for your own use or add to the public database. Which is why their database is so much better than FitBits! Very frustrating and it limits the usage greatly. My goal is to get exercise and track my intake/burn. It would be great to have an activity log summary on the dashboard so I can see at first glance all the activities I've inputted that day. Would save alot of time searching through tabs and give a better overall view of what happened. On the website, I can move and turn on/off the various display settings for the Fitbit Force. I mostly look at the display to see the time, the step-count, and what time my next alarm is. To get to the alarm, I have to cycle through stairs and active minutes and the like. I know I could turn those less-used ones off, but what would be better for me is the ability to move the alarm display before these "less used" displays.   How about adding "alarms" to the "Display Settings" and allow me to drag it up and down? I wish there was an option to limit the number of low battery emails to one. Currently, my FitBit Flex emails me EVERY 20 MINUTES. If the battery gets low when I'm sleeping or otherwise not checking my email, I end up with 20 or 30 emails in my inbox. It's very annoying. The weight goal tile when I joined up was an awesome little graph of my weight over time. Then sometime later I wondered what would happen if I set a weight goal, so assuming that I'd be able to remove it afterwards I set a pretend weight goal.   Now I can't remove it, only change it. I don't want to change it, I don't want any weight goal at all. I've removed the tile from my dashboard but I don't want to do that, I just want the weight graph back.   It can't just be me. There must be other people who want to have a weight goal for a while and then change their minds and decide they don't care any more or something. I think the leaderboard for your steps should be re calculated everyday. I think it would be a bit more competitive. For example it might be hard for me to beat my friend that averages 12,000+ steps a day over 7 days, but one day out of the week I just might, which would also push him/her to do more that day as well to stay on top.    Also these ideas should be in a forum style it would be much easier to find and vote for your idea then having to page through a ton of pages, which will cut down on duplicatae ideas, and allow more votes on the same idea.   Moderator Edit: Updated label ... Hi.   I just wanted to share two M7-related feature requests. While it is great that you just added M7 support for those that don't have an actual fitbit device, it would be even better if it could be used simultaneously with the real fitbit device.   scenario 1: I went on vacation, forgot to charge the fitbit, and did a lot of hiking. When I returned, all of that data was lost. Had I been able to use the m7 data from my iPhone (which I had with me the whole time) there would not be such a big gap.   scenario 2: two friends of mine with FitBit Forces have persistent problems with the registration of movements in the car while driving to work. This can show up as much as 3000 steps over the course of a 20-minute ride. When they compare the step count against that recorded by the iPhone, the iPhone seems to successfully ignore these motions. It would seem to be possible to combine the data from both the fitbit and the M7 to provide even more accurate results than either could alone.   Thanks.   Moderator Edit: Updated label ...   I'm a chef and having anything around my wrist is annoying and cumbersome to performing my duties. I am finding that I have to remove it from my wrist more often than I like to admit. I like the idea of this device but there are certain job titles that having something around the wrist is almost impossible to wear.
