I love my Ionic. Its the first fitness tracker that really works which ALSO has a music option but the functionality is a little frustrating.   Two features that would greatly improve the Ionic would be... 1) Drag and Drop uploads. Being able to plug my ionic into my Mac and drag playlists/podcasts across. Means I can still update watching with WIFI (especially as the WIFI sync seems time-consuming and glitchy - especially when uploading large files). 2) More player controls. Again, I largely listen to podcasts when running and being able to fast forward to a particular point in a track would be great. Especially as it would seem that Ionic doesn't remember where you last got up to so having to re-listen to the first hour of a 2 hours pod is a little frustrating.   These two functions would be a really strong addition to what is otherwise a great little device.   Moderator Edit: Added Labels   ... The 250 steps warning at 10 minutes prior to the hour end is excellent but I have found if you are engrossed in an issue you miss it because of the low intensity and similar to normal notifications. It isn't a normal notification.   At those hours where I feel I will have that situation I have set silent alarms on the 1/2 hour.   I feel the 250 step warning should be similar to the Silent Alarm intensity and possibly with the snooze option.   Added 2nd December 2016   Now that we have 10 Challenges the 10 minute before the hour vibrating warning is being "lost" withj all of the notifications.    Moderator edit: Labels ... I would really love the ability to race against myself and track my performance against past runs during my current run with splits provided so that I can pick up the pace if I'm behind etc. This is really important as a motivating factor as well as a quick way to mark improvements in fitness levels. Fitbit needs to remove the DND icon off of the Inspire 2. It is a redundant feature when the Inspire 2 offers "Sleep Mode" and it actually turns itself on by turning the wrist. Hi there, I am wondering why bed time reminders, cheers, taunts and messages go to the phone/laptop the Ace 2 is linked to rather than to the actual device our kids are wearing and if this could be modified? This device is advertised for 6+ years old. Many kids do not have their own secondary device and as a result their Fitbit Ace 2 are linked to their parents phone or laptop like my 9 years' old Ace 2 is. It makes no sense for kids to have to check an app on a secondary device to see a reminder for bedtime (which of course they won't see in real time as the phone/device may be in another room) to  see if they have received a cheer or message or a reminder to wind down for bed when the device they are wearing on their arm can and should be showing them this information in real time as it is actually on their wrist. We are trying to encourage our children to be physically active and mindful of sleep (which also does not show up on the device) yet you are asking kids to go find the device their Fitbit Ace 2 is linked to to see reminders and cheers and sleep hours.   Please can I ask that you look into making these features visible on the Ace 2 device. I know my daughter would love to see a 'cheer' pop up on her device during the day! Make a new option of Fitbit Bands to be made out of recycled materials like polyester, plastic bottles, plastic fibres etc. This would of course help the environment by re-using harmful materials and I believe a lot more people would be willing to buy a 'Green band' which does the same job as the others whilst helping the environment.   Moderator edit: Labels ... I know that the Fitbit Charge 3 has a weather app, but according to the Fitbit community, you need to turn on all day sync for the weather app. My suggestion is to ask that Fitbit make accessing the weather not require your phone with you all day. For example, searching "weather" on google will give you a panel showing the current weather, and also the predicted temperatures. Can a Fitbit just get all the predicted temperatures in one sync with your phone? II spend too much time deleting notifications on my charge 3! Notifications should cancel or disappear when I view/cancel a phone call, text or calendar reminder on my iPhone or computer.  If this cannot happen, at least make the notifications disappear after 3 days. As someone who is actively losing weight and exercising using my wonderful Blaze I would love to see a feature that lets you track inches/ centimeters lost on the typical body parts measured  So Breast/Chest  Waist  Hips  Thigh  and arms With tests now saying BMI is becoming irrelevant and we should be using a measurement of waist compared to height and or hip a feature that lets you track this alongside your lean mass and actual weight would be a great feature and give a more holistic view of a fitness journey. I love the friendly competition of Fitbit.  What would make it even more interesting is if I was aware of when a Friend is on the move -- it might make the difference between cracking open a cold one and getting outside for a brisk walk!     This could be implemented on the Friend dashboard.  I envision a small virtual LED to the right of the name.   Unlit = Inactive (X < 100 steps/10 minutes) Yellow = Somewhat Active (100 < X < 500 steps) Green = Active (> 500 steps)   Use whatever numbers and colors make the most sense.  You could even also change the background color of the Friend's row rather than use virtual LEDs.  The point is, let me know if my friend is about to make a move on me.     Moderator Edit: Added Labels   ... I was upset to find out that you had discontinued support for the fitbit app on Windows 8.1. That OS is still quite common and supported by Microsoft at this time. I can understand that you're not able to go back to previous OS versions but you stopped support on a system that many of us use and would like to use the app features on our computers. I have a Blaze and start recording an exercise under Workout on the watch. I then associate that workout with a custom activity I have created in the iPhone application. When that activity is viewed in the iphone app dashboard for Exercise, I see Miles, Pace and Avg bpm. I am doing cardio and weight exercises so Miles and Pace do not mean anything. I put Charge HR in exercise mode and when done I go to App and change to outdoor bike, subtracts steps from exercise (good) but my daily total stays same. This should deduct for total.
