i want my 12 year to be able to use his ChargeHR. We chose it because of the time feature. This is my 8th Fitbit purchase as a gift. Instead of shutting kids out, give us the ability to set up an account for them but it has to be tied to parent or guardian account. As in I have to put my email address and password in to active the account or give permission. You are missing the boat on this one. You are an intelligent group of people. Think outside the box.

It would be nice if your graphs showed the peak heart rate and the low heart rate in an actual number on the graph not just a peak that leaves you guessing. Moderator Edit: Edited Feature Request title and labels.

The Aria scale used to sync up with Weight Watchers (which was why I purchased it in the first place), but every since WW revamped their app, it no longer syncs. There is a place to enter Aria as a device, but it will not connect with Fitbit Aria data. Please please add this back! It was such a fabulous feature and benefits both products!

It would be really beneficial to be able to see macronutrients when logging your food in the app. For instance, in the app My Fitness Pal, you can see the grams of sugar, carbs, fiber, etc. when you log your food, rather than just the amount of calories. I personally would rather track based on suggestions for macronutrients than strictly calories considering not all calories should be treated equally.

Please set an ability to do a virtual walk across the country by being able to enter a starting point and ending point on a map connected to google maps. Make it so you can check in and see in steps how far you've gone on a map along with being able to zoom down and see where you are in street view. For example you set a personal challenge to walk from New York City to Los Angeles over a year or three and you can check in at any time on the fit bit app or web page and see where you are and see the sights in street view by zooming down to your location. I walk a good 5 miles worth of steps or more a day and is possible I could virtually walk from Chicago to Florida over a year. I think this would make it interesting to make the daily steps just to see how far I am and see in google maps, where I am and in street view where I am on my personal challenge. You can set it up as a race to race your friends or strangers across the country and see how you stand up to everyone time wise. You can have it so you can start the race any day and when you hit the finish, you see how you stand up to others.

The recent update added the number of days exercised during a given week but dropped the cumulative number of hours and minutes exercised during the week. Can you add the running total of hours and minutes exercised back to the bar at the beginning of each week as I find that more useful. Moderator Edit: Added Labels

I often use my FitBit Charge HR to track my workouts in real-time, rather than entering them manually. However, while it is easy to remember to start the timer I often forget to stop it when I complete my workout. Later, then I sync my FitBit Charge HR with my dashboard, a workout that was actually an hour registers as 2 hours or more, depending on when I remembered to stop it. Unfortunately, I am not able to edit the length of the workout so that it is actually reflected in my dashboard. I can erase the workout and enter it manually but then I lose all the heart rate data. Two suggestions for the dashboard:
1) Allow edits to the length of workouts that are tracked real-time by the FitBit and synced with the dashboard.
2) When workouts are entered manually, pull in the corresponding heart rate data for the period of the workout.
Thanks!

I had the worse case of dermatitis from the rubber wristband. It's been 6 weeks now and it's healing. Many people have allergies to that, so why not come out with a cloth wristband that would breathe to keep your wrist dry and/or to keep allergies to a minimum.

Currently, to export multiple months of data, one must first export the data for one month, for example August, then navigate to another page, then go back to the export page and reset the custom date range to a different month, for example, July. Without navigating to another page, the calendar setting is disabled.
Thank you,
Fred

Hi, I'd just like to make a request. I'm an active windsurfer, surfer and stand up paddle boarder and annoyingly the FitBit app doesn't recognise these as sports. So after a day's surfing/windsurfing/stand up paddle boarding I can't log what I've done on the app, which is incredibly annoying as it's hard to keep track of my calorie output this way. Can you please either add these sports to the app or add a function where you can manually add your calorie output? Thanks

I think it would be great if you would add a 3D Touch shortcut on the new iPhone 6s for quick adding of food, water, or sleep. Thank you for your consideration. Kevin

Hi I do not yet own a Fitbit as I am reluctant to get one due to reading that they cannot be used during swimming, although I have seen that you can add this data to your exercise log I feel that this is a gap in the Fitbit market. If a device could be made or even a case for an existing device then I would purchase without hesitation but as it stands I cannot decide whether to buy or to find another device which has a swimming/fitness function to use during all exercise and daily activities. Thanks

If you don't have the resources for doing this yourselves, at least define the countries, and let the community add the products and pictures. The Bar code scanner adds a quite easy way to add products and labels. If you now add a separate tile for community added products, we could easily input the values ourselves from the pictures. Then allow a few people to review the numbers and the food database should populate quickly. (Merging and deleting dupliates will need to be administrated). To make this interesting add some badges for this and perhaps some free months of premium after some number of product additions/image translations/reviews.

Hi, I just got the latest update (Sept 15th) for the android app and it seems like the notifications is now becoming a problem. Let me explain: before I use to receive notification of a call on my charge hr but now after setting it up, a notification always run in he Android drop list. And if I decide to turn it off (which is inconvenient), the fitbit app always reminds me to set it up :s can this be fixed? Tks Moderator Edit: Added Labels

I really like my surge, I wear it everyday and use it too:). I bought one for myself and was a little upset when I found out that there was no GPS bike setting. Thankfully that is something that you worked on and updated. As I haven't been riding much lately I have not needed the biking mode however a few weeks ago I started using it again, I really like it. Now that I have started cycling again I checked out the music control setting and I must tell you in the beginning I was excited about the idea that I can go riding or even running and control my music. But I was very disappointed to find out that is not possible. Because as soon as you start a workout you cannot switch out of that mode to check/control your music until you end the workout. Please consider this to be in your next update as this is a simple and primary feature that I believe is missing. I believe anyone running/exercising would like to control their music while they are in middle of the workout and not to have to take out their phone to change to the next song. I don't presume to know much about this kind of technology but this strikes me as this maybe an easy fix. I really hope this is in the next update and that it is coming very soon. Cheers

As a teacher, I'm always looking to phrase negative student behavior in a positive way (eg. If a student is running and they need to walk, I say "so-and-so, walk, please," not, "so-and-so, stop running.") I was a little disheartened when I received a notification from one of my challenges saying "You demoted so-and-so!" It made me feel bad for doing well, because it told me I had had a negative consequence on my friend. It was all I could focus on. Instead, I wish the notification had said something like "Congratulations! You're now in 1st place! Keep up the good work!" It's getting the same exact message across, but in a positive manner.

Why not make a fitbit with a landscape display. That way a user could have a multi functional fitbit (with watch, HR, etc) in a narrower band, i.e. size of a flex. Especially appealing to women and could be used with dress clothing

I wonder if Zumba could be classified as a step based activity. I have to remember to take by FitBit off so that it doesn't throw off my step count, and then hope that the other counter I use has an accurate calorie burn count. It would just be nice if I didn't have to mess around with diffrent apps and devices.
Thanks!

I think it should be able to tell you the temperature and the weather with an icon that could show a cloud or a sun or a rain drop depending on the weather. It would use ur phone and current location to get the data. I would buy a Fitbit for that feature alone. Moderator Edit: Edited labels.

Dear Fitbit,
I have Fitbit Surge and the option for notification works pretty poor as the messages in Cyryllic are not shown as they should be, they are show in squares.

For Flex or other designs:
What about a light or vibration or some other indicator that one is in the "moderate to intense" range for earning active minutes?
Would also like an inactivity warning, maybe a vibration after a certain period of inactivity, which the wearer could program. Sure would help those of us with desk jobs make an effort to get up and move!
Thanks!

I have been using the fitbit app for a while, not a long time, and all the visual improvments have been very nice but then going and using the desktop dashboard I love the way the tiles look, with all the motion of the circles and the beautiful design. Just a thought to make the app look even better!

I've seen the results of the Celebrity Challenges but have you thought about Corporate Challenges? I know my company is very interested in improving the health of all it's employees (albeit not purely alltrueistic)
Wouldn't it be fun to say, have a competition by industry? You can even offer employees of the participating companies a discount on select devices (possibly even subsidized by the company) You can then follow the progress during the challenge, Company with the most steps, company with the highest average steps by participant and Company with the individual with the highest step count. This could be a boon for sales and good advertising for all companies.

Hey,
I really like wearing the fitbit one and I am sad to see that all new developments go into wristbands. I would really like to see new trackers (for example with HR mode, cycling and the great stairs function of One) that you don't have to wear on your wrist. I work in a hospital/OR and am not allowed to wear any watches. And if I go somewhere official, I would much rather hide the tracker under my dress.
So please don't forget the non-wristband trackers and develop something new there. I'd buy it!

Appreciate the 2.12 update, but would like to see a "Log It" button on the water screen. Also do not like to have to hit the plus button to log in water amounts throughout the day.

Hi, I understand this will drain the battery but having an option will help with the following: 1. Call notifications will be faster instead after a few rings 2. On Android phones, it can then be used as a trusted device...even if its paired now its usually disconnected to save battery so the smart unlock doesnt work

Somebody already wrote about this idea in a vague sort of way. With the new update and the sleep goal, I think it can be implemented easily. I'd like to to get a little bit more specific.
Fitbit can use the data for the sleep goal to prompt a notification for when I should go to bed.
Here's how:
Users in the "go to bed notification" selects how much earlier he/she wants to be notificated. 30 minutes? 1 hours? or even more (anybody adapts to his/her bed routine). From the next alarm subtract the sleep goal and the time set by the user.
Ex. Next alarm at 6 am. I want to achieve a goal of 7 hr of sleep and be prompted 1 hr before going to bed. My fitbit should vibrate at 10pm with a message telling me "Stop whatever you're doing! It's time to sleep! " 🙂
Obviously it only works if you have alarm set on a fitbit, and if you put a sleep goal in your application.

Is it possible for you guys to consider either not allowing manually steps added to challenges, OR, showing manually added steps?
I've been in a few challenges and its obvious people are adding manual steps so they can cheat.
I can understand people forget to put on their fitbit or at times have to manually add, but at worst if it was listed in the challenge timeline that manual steps were added it could be recognised.
I know there are also other ways to cheat (one guy even put it on his dog to run around with), but at least this is a step in the right direction.
Thanks

Put the option to change the clock on the Fitbit devices in the app itself instead of forcing people to use the web interface to select 24hr clock format.
