Is there any plans to create a kayak app on the New Ionic. It would be great to record paddle strokes as well as your heart rate and GPS route. I have had a surge for a while now but not being able to use it for my sport is a bit of a downside that has made me consider other watches. But with the ionic being useable on the water is a game changer for me. Please think about it. Not everyone's gym is indoors.

It would be a great idea to add the medical alert logo to the flex band in case of a medical emergency. Older adults today are living longer, more active lives than the generations before them. The medical alert symbol and information can be incorporated into a stylish watch or a bangle-type bracelet, among many other options.
Medical IDs give paramedics and health care providers a quick look at your medical history in an emergency. They usually include information about medical conditions, food or drug allergies, medical devices (such as a pacemaker), and medications. This data can also be in sync with your Smartphone. Would be cool to just download a 5 or 10 mile radius from the phone app, then go for a walk and see where you're at. Basically just a dot to see your location on a map with the ability to zoom in and out. Navigation to a predefined destination for bonus points.

I love my FitBit and have been wearing it since September 2013. One suggestion: the FitBit sends a reminder when it needs charging. How about another message when it's fully charged to remind me to put it back on! Sometimes I drop it in the charger and forget it for hours... Just a suggestion!

I love my Fitbit and it's a great way of measuring , seeing how well my neurological condition is doing (Myasthenia Gravis). It would be amazing feature if I could also log my medication on the app as it would really help when I go to my neurologist for him to see a complete overall view of my health and how I am coping etc

I have to manage and track my moods as part of managing my bipolar and it would be really beneficial to be able to do this using the Fitbit app. I can then see how sleep quality and quantity effect my mood level the next day. If I could monitor my mood and energy levels here it would allow me to see early warning signs and which aspects of my health improve my symptoms. This would not only be helpful for those with bipolar but anyone who is experiencing depression, low mood or anxiety. Other trackers on the market either don't have the capabilities that Fitbit does or they are very complicated to complete. Fitbit mood identifier and motivating option and motivational messages. Thank you for your consideration

The Surge has this super-fancy barometric altimeter, as well as GPS. This feature is only available on the most top-end navigation devices, yet we don't have access to elevation data. Let's see it!

Would love to see something similar to the Gym Boss timer, where you can basically design your own works by entering the interval times, number of rounds, breaks/rests, and the exercise name. They even allow you to personalize the colors used, so you can color-code things (legs, abs, rests, etc).

I will be brief . Following a post tittled features for an average fitbit user found here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-HR/Features-for-the-Average-Fitbit-user/m-p/823473 I was recomended to post here. I said I will be brief. My demographic is 50 year old moderately well off family men in the UK. We use to play sports and still have the time and money to play a little tennis say. We can afford the top of the range fitness gear. We would like not to keel over before we are at least 70. Us Brits do like a sherbert ot three. It's our culture (and to a lesser and sometimies greater degree is the culture of many Europeans ). Steps, activities, stairs, calories you are looking at fitness in a holistic way, trying to empower your users . A simple optional tile, maybe separate or at least seperatable from the general food log allowing drilling down into not just the calories a beer or a single malt has but the frequency of intake and units of alchohol imbibed would in my opinion be usefull for an overview of our general health. I appreciate that some marketeers might be resistant. My demographic looks bad in lycra and dont look good in adverts! Is your average fitbit user a fit woman or man who wants to maintain that or an unfit and unhealthy woman or man who wants to improve their wellness? I take a guess that blokes like me will buy more of your top end devices ( and sign up for premium services) than our kids will! Richard Time for a Scotch and an episode of Madmen. The current Fitbit integration with MapMyRun is really not practical for what most users of mapmyrun actually use. MapMyRun is primarily used as a place to track the actual runs a person runs and the other features of MapMyRun and MyFitnessPal all work off this basic functionality. The current integration does NOT do this.
What everyone else who claims to have an integration with MapMyRun does is this.
Export from Fitbit to MapMyRun the actual run event which includes the following:
1. Distance
2. Steps
3. Duration
4. Average Pace
5. Calories
6. Time
7. GPS mapping information
8. Splits, if possible
9. Heartrate
The current tracker sends over general daily information, which it is very interesting, it really is not that relevant as it relates to the use of MapMyRun. You really should remove any advertising of an integration with MapMyRun until you actually import the event. Your current integration with MapMyRun is basically useless, for all practical purposes.

I find that a well lit watch is very useful at night when you want a little light without disturbing your partner or kids.
A torch app similar to what you find on smartphones would be a great feature (With the watch’s display turned on full white).
A shortcut would be important and the ability to set the default brightness and/or size of lit area of the torch would also be key.

There is this great app called Sleep cycles! I’ve used this app for ever and it’s revolutionized the way I wake up in the morning. Here’s how it works: you set your alarm -say 6:30- and during the times 6:00-6:30 it will wake you up when you are at your most woke period during the 30 minute time period. It is wonderful for waking up naturally and I can’t live without it! If Fitbit could make the app compatible with the alarm and sync the sleep already gathered from previous cycles that would be awesome!!! If it doesn’t I won’t die I’ll just use the Sleep Cycle app and rely on the stats provided by Fitbit! But it would be so cool if we could sync up the stats and have the alarm wake up when the app wakes you up!

I would love to be able to track caffeine intake through the day. I don't really track my food intake so much, but I would enjoy being able to see how the tea/coffee/etc I drink through the day impacts onto my sleep!

I travel out of the country quite a bit. My old watch offered a dual time zone feature which allowed me to see the local time but also allowed me to monitor time at home. This made it easy for me to determine when I could call home. I currently have Charge 2 and am looking at Ionic. It would be nice to have this feature or at lest an app which provides this functionality. I thought the apple watch could do

The clock face gallery is full of designs with highly particular aesthetics, but there is no simple elegant watch that combines the main features of the device. Classic watch design needed. In THIS THREAD there's been quite a discussion on the desires of some for certain other apps to sync with FitBit, particularly for me the Cyclemeter app. In that link you can see a lot of the pros and cons of Cyclemeter vs. Strava and to be honest, Strava stinks.
I have reached out to Cyclemeter and they have passed along the request to sync with FitBit but they said unless there is a lot more interest (apparently I was the first to ask), they would have to hold off and maybe in the distant future.
I'm sure if FitBit contacted Cyclemeter that could get things sped up and interests piqued!

I think it would be nice to have a setting for VR gaming when tracking exercise. Currently fitbit auto recognizes it as either sport, elliptical, or aerobic exercise. There are studies done on VR and exercise by the VR Institute of Health and Exercise. They have even created their own exercise tracker app that takes data from fitness trackers with heart rate. However, their app is not compatible with the fitbit. There is a large community interested in this feature.

I have only just received my Fitbit Charge 2 today and want to integrate it into my live streams, I just don't know how..... I like to stream games in general and I think it would be cool to be able to integrate my heart rate into my streams when I am playing "Beat Saber" (which REALLY gets the blood pumping!) or when I play Horror games (I also have jump scare alerts turned on) OR just when it's a REALLY intense PvP game close to a win! So, even if it's a site that shows your heart rate in real time, app or API. That'd be great.

The COVID-19 epidemic/pandemic has the CDC asking people to, among other actions, stop touching their faces. I would love it if my Fitbit would buzz to remind me about this each time I reach upward to touch my face. It seems like this simple movement could be programmed in as an update, ideally a feature we can turn on or off. What do others think?

As a flight attendant traversing many time zones, it would be extremely helpful to have a native face clock with an elegant design of a dual time zone that’s easy to change even when your phone is in airplane mode. Please consider. I may have to go back to using my Apple Watch for work. Though I’d rather only have to use my new Fitbit Versa.

I'm asking for the ability for normal users (non developers) to upload images to the Ionic for storage. With the possibility for developers to create another custom App to view those images that are stored locally on the Ionic.
For example, the Samsung Gear 3 comes built-in with a "Image Viewer" app which allows users to transfer their own photos via the Gear 3 App to the smartwatch to be viewed with the "Image Viewer".
